 		Wow...this ARG looks extremely interesting. I really want to join...

Out of curiosity, are there any above-ground girls here? If there are if you don't mind a third wheel (so to speak)...or I guess I could invent my own clan, but that'd be kind of boring.

(would it be OK to just email Ketsui / Maria out of the blue also? still kinda new to the whole ARG concept)

 		Has the PM posted on your forums yet? Or is that entire site a complete fabrication based on the little information we have on the storyline?

To be honest, it probably isn't helping, but this PM seems to be willing to adapt.

EDIT: btw, to all of the ladies playing, (and I haven't been following this REAL closely, only checking every once in a while, so forgive me if it's already been mentioned), we should start up our own little resistance group offering help & safe haven to fugitive men. Maybe we can have some moles or spies or whatever within the elite group of women in control.

Hahah this is starting to turn out more and more like a roleplaying game. I just hope we're not getting too carried away with it.

 		I replied, asking hiim who Grace was and what he did that might make us worry that he was being punished.
I also mentioned that I have some *friends* who have set up an aboveground safe house for escaped men, and that I can be a sort mole between the safe house and the *other* women if he needs me to.
(When he first sent the email, I originally told him I had no idea what he was talking about, but then I 'realized' it and said I had nothing to do with it but would help him. I'm sort of an in-between person I guess o_O)

 		Sent an e-mail suggesting that he BCC the e-mail recipients of future mass e-mails. But I also noticed there were a lot of e-mail addresses with a common host (a .edu). Perhaps this game is a school project? That would be neat!

Anyway, I shot a few more messages back and forth with him. Here's the deal thus far, starting with my reply to the Grace email:

By the by - don't know if you got the message I sent from the mobile unit (I had to do a supply run - stores here are good, but needed topping off), but I met a runner from the Olduvai outpost at the cache. Here's the deal with Kreiner Outpost: it's not there anymore.

I don't mean it's been destroyed, I mean it looks like it never existed. The entry to the underground garage, the old JP-5 tanks, . . . hell, even the three-foot-thick reinforced steel silo doors, all of 'em are just gone. Poof. Vanished into thin air, comprende?

How the hell do you make a former Atlas missile silo just . . . vanish like that? (Granted, the silo's long since been decommissioned - we were using it as a hydroponics research facility - but it shouldn't be possible for something that big to just disappear, as if it had never been built . . . )

P.P.S. - As for escape . . . well, I don't know how good an idea that is, at least discussing it in clear. We need a more secure link, but I don't think ComStar ever made it out to your 20.

Well, truth be told, the Independents are a mixed bag. We've all got one thing in common, though - we all think that this whole thing with the bomb was a major, MAJOR goof. Someone wasn't thinking straight - they let emotions overpower common sense and scientific fact. (And that's the polite version. Trust me you don't want to hear the way some of the other Independents put it.)

And I honestly have no clue what's going on - all I know is what the runner's report said.

In a couple days, I'm going to be taking a squad out to investigate the missing outpost's 20 - it'll be me, Kragoth, Cryss, and Lilith, and we'll be taking a mobile sensor array out. Maybe that'll give us an idea of what's going on. There's probably a rational explanation for it.

At least, I hope there is . . .

I seriously hope we figure out what happened at Kreiner Outpost. If it is gone, that means trouble, and I mean big trouble. I wouldn't be surprised if the place were attacked in an attempt to flush us out.

(And you're right about Lilith - she's one of the best we've got. I've worked with her before, and she makes one of the best partners anyone could ask for, on the field or off.)

 		This is messed up... who's writing this story anyway?

We got one or two threads from someone named Grace, who's making herself sound like the cleaning lady. And then we have everybody else making stuff up as they go, without any regard for the PM's planned storyline or framework.

I mean, granted, the PM's rather screwy in his communications, but still. I don't think it proper for people to just jump in and start making stuff up in someone else's world.

Either that or I'm once again horribly, horribly confused...

PS #1: Yes, forum's horribly slow.

PS #2: Ketsui seems to have an AIM account ("ketsuichan"). Not confirmed "in game", though. Talking to him now...

actually, it seems like that is EXACTLY what the PM wants, considering how they can adapt to peoples ideas, but thats just speculation.
