 		[SPEC] Email Melissa?
ok, this occurred to me yesterday at work...haven't put it to the test yet...

follow my train of thought...

ok, we know that Melissa is damaged and confused.

I believe that in Stage one she was....unconcious, spider was in control and attempting to repair and protect her. I also thionk that Spider is not an independant entity, but a semi autonomous subroutine of Melissas.

In stage one Melissa was unconcious, but aware. In stage two she is half awake, still damaged...still scared. and pissed off. From her perspective Dana tried to kill her by erasing all the files on the server. So she strikes but, but finds that her power is limited, less than she expected.

From her memories we know that she is an AI from some kind of military ship, but more importantly we know that she is human derived/created. All the names she refers to in here memoery fragments as well as hert own point to human, and of course there is this,

Pretty clear, huh? So this is my thought.....she's after Dana...because she's pissed and she's scared....she has mistaken and incomplete information about where/when she is and what has/is happening. Has anyone emailed her (via ladybee777) to correct her...to offer to help her?


I suggest that we compose an email together here...giving her the correct date, her physical location. a run down on the current state of technology and, most importantly, the fact that Dana is not her enemy.

 		Many emails have been sent to the various accounts, including the type youd escribe, though the prevailing theory does not suggest that Melissa/Operator is at the other end of the ladybee777 account.

 		Hmm...I'm not sure that it isn't Melissa at the other end of Ladybee777, I don't really buy into the idea that there are more than one entities in the ILB server. I think perhaps that they are fragments or subroutines of the same.

As for the messages previously sent...I haven't seen much evidence of any sent after the webcam incident, everyone has been more concerned with tracking down Dana. Even the ones sent before were mostly questions and dictionary cantent....anyway...it's worth a try.

 		I sent an e-mail to ladybee777@hotmail yesterday, and one to danatwing@gmail today. I've been waiting on replies; I'm not terribly hopeful about replies, to be honest, so I haven't posted it to Interaction yet.

Bingo! That's what I think, too. Its like the most basic "If...Then" code I learned in a visual basic class. If AI doesn't respond Then SPDR must find and fix problem....

Be advised that the danatwing address is probably a hoax... the email header traces back to the University of Indiana, which is not referenced by any other in-game site.
