I don't know if you've been answered in the other thread yet, but there are some clues in the source code at PO that link back to this game.

I saw that, but...

1) They don't make a *direct* link. They never directly used the names "Martin" and "Rebecca", did they?

2) Which came first? How long have those comments been in the source code?

No, they don't specifically say Martin and Rebecca, but again- that's a big coincidence. To get clues that translate to names in an active game seems pretty strange to not be related, but I'm new, so... *shrug*. Plus, Rebecca's not all that uncommon but Martin's kind of pushing it, at least for me.

They first discovered the comments in the source code today, and I can't imagine they were there for longer than 3 days and no one but the PM's of this other game noticed. PO's only been going on for about 2 weeks but the thing has been rapid-fire puzzles/solves that entire time. Sometimes there were multiple updates to the source code in a day (check the "summary" page on the wiki in my signature for examples of this). I would bet that they were there for no longer than 12 hours before someone saw them with the way things have been going over there.

I would say if anyone is trying to make a weird connection (if there wasn't one there), it'd be PO- not findmyfriends. But I'm really betting they're intertwined somehow.

Well, first off, they used the MEANINGS of both names. I mean, it would be to obvious and less mysterious if a top secret organization popped up and said:

"HAI GUISE!! LIEK, MARTIN ADN REBECCA R IN DIS GAEM!!!!111!!11"

So, its a safe bet that the meanings are the closest we're gonna get to the DIRECT use of their names.

The comment in the source code was the thing that lead us to believe that these two ARGs were one in the same.

Satellite looks like it's in the middle of nowhere.. like a farm or something. But it won't zoom to street level so I can't be sure.

Ok, this is late I know and I'm just now trying to catch up from the weekend. Just wondering, where did you find these numbers? I happen to be from Houston, TX and all three numbers have Houston area codes.

I looked up TX area codes and added them to the numbers we had on the note. They look the right length?

'281', '713', and '832' are the three Houston area codes for phone numbers. I'm just not sure about any phone numbers beginning with '0'

The 091 and 2361 are the numbers for two flights (AA 091 and AA 2361) which have appeared in the other ARG, Project Ophiuchus.

Further info can be found in:

So we've got

AA flight 91 which goes LHR-ORD London heathrow to Chicago

Then

AA flight 2361 which goes ORD-DFW Chicago to Dallas.

OK
so.
Due to updates on the site we were informed about flights departing, being delayed and arriving etc.. see PO thread for details.

AA flight 91 leaves LHR at 4.30 PM every day, and scheduled Arrival times are 7.20pm.
We know from the updated site that it actually got in at 7.41pm Local time in chicago.
The second flight number
AA flight 2361 goes ORD-DFW scheduled to be at 9.00PM arriving at 11.20PM.
We were informed through the site that this flight was delayed, which it was in RL
It arrived at 01.57AM ,

We can assume that these flights are the ones that 'Martin' took to the US for his business trip.
So we can assume that between 6th of Feb and the 13th of Feb (when locatemyfriends was mailed to us) that he was in the US.

[spec]Now because Phase 12 was centred in Spain, I think we can assume Phase 13 is more than likely going to be centred in TX[/spec]

We know that Dani mentions Recruits 143, 150 and 121 in his group mail as 'not having responded to last night's message' on the 13th Feb. The same date as locatemyfriends went live.

UPDATE:

Okay, this just gets weirder and wierder! I've literally just received a fax containing this image…

The fax just said three words…. 'Not old, Soap". This is getting scary now. I think someone's watching. But who, is another question.

Where do you think this picture could have been taken? I'm not sure what that thing is under the shelf, but it looks suspiscious. I'm going to have to go now. I'm trying to get more info on the USB sticks.

This last post is unclear what is YOUR words, and what is J's words. Did YOU receive the fax or did J? Where did you find this? Try using the [quote] function.

Also, have you guys figured out yet if this is an alternative trailhead for Project O? Cause posting the same info in both threads may be counter productive or lead you guys into different directions.

If you can conclude they are the same, you may want to combine into 1 new thread and close off the old ones, directing to the new one. If you cannot conclude or have ruled it out, then carryon and try to avoid cross posting to avoid further obfuscation.

Kona... There are too many "Coincidences" for these 2 Trailheads not to be linked.

A "Martin & Rebecca" Going missing...

The number "13"

The digits "091/2361"

And several others.

I think we need to keep these now restricted to the P.O thread.

I'm convinced they are the same campaign, but I think we can trudge on a bit longer with the two. Very different things going on in the two pieces for now. It's worked out pretty well for Conspiracy 08 and Yori thus far. It could help to sticky this so it's up with the PO thread (and sticky Con08 and Yori as well).

As for the update, everything in Leyton's post after the @'s is from the new blog post:

I have a listing for all copies of MIT wavelength tables in libraries in the UK.

1. Cambridge University Cambridge, CB3 9DR United Kingdom
2. University of Essex Colchester, CO4 3UA United Kingdom
3. University of Leeds Leeds, LS2 9JT United Kingdom
4. University of London Library London, WC1E 7HU United Kingdom
5. University of Oxford Oxford, OX1 3LU United Kingdom

According to oxford's OLIS libarary indexing system, they have copies of:

MIT wavelength tables, Temperature: American Institute of Physics and Handbook Of Heat Transfer.

All in Radcl.Science RSL stack apparently. Might be useful?

I'll provide links when I get home. Just finishing up work now.
