Donno if everyone's checking both threads, but on the LMF thread two DFW residents have signed on for this ride - das Llamas and myself. Llama said he might be able to go before work but definitely could go in the afternoon, but I have no work and volunteered to go when the library opened to find whatever's in there so you lot can get to cracking on the clues. Hopefully he'll check the forums before he goes, or it'll be a bit of a race to the clue.

And I volunteered for any future legwork in Dallas. Just in case, you know, the PM wants to keep the game centered there. Which would rock. ;P

OK, so we have this "Jason looking for 2 friends thing" and this "PO is trying to do some secret thing".

PO has already had a participant die (P13).

We are fairly certain that Marty and Becky are PO participants.

Do we know who Jason is? Do we know anything about "Jason"?

Can we confirm that M&R are actually Jason's friends, and not, say, his next targets?

Jason seemed to jump on wanting to know more about PO. We know there are those opposed to PO.

We kinda need to decide if we want to reveal PO to Jason and "side with him", or let PO know about Jason and "side with them".

If Jason drummed all this "help me find my friends" stuff to crack PO in the first place, then revealing our knowledge of PO will be bad for PO.

I wonder if we need to dig a little and figure out if Jason should really be helped, or if PO should be stopped, or both, or neither. PO could be doing something vastly beneficial.

It seems to me that Marty and Becky are willing participants of PO. What motivates Jason to be so desperate to find M&R... Maybe its just my suspicious nature, but I don't trust either "side" right now... I think we need to better understand the bigger picture, if its at all possible. Jason could be trying to kill M&R for all we know, and we might be helping him do it.

Well, after the school system going down, I can finally get my post up.
Didn't get on yesterday, so I didn't get a chance to say. Could it be possible that this is the Project's undercover investigation on their missing recruits?
It could explain Jason's knowledge of PO, and perhaps when we showed the number 13 image, it sent some alarm bells ringing for Jason (Seeing as it's supposed to be secret) and he's gauging our knowledge of the Project.

Please nobody take this the wrong way, but we need to stop crossposting everything in both threads. I understand that everyone wants to help and make sure their words are heard, but we only have the two threads and I believe that anyone playing is following both threads now. Honestly we have around ten pages of posts in this thread that are give no direct information about PO, but are directly related to LMF and the library hunt instead.

This thread should be mostly dormant until a) we get an update on the PO website, b) we get communication from Dani or R169, or c) Punchline (R170) fills us in on what the next step is.
EDIT - or d) whatever is found in the libraries gives us more info on PO to dissect.

If all this is part of a larger game, I will really be surprised. Con08, I saw the connection, but FCR as well?
If all of these were part of a larger game, then I'd really be surprised.
Anyway, we probably should try to stop the cross-posting, except for larger cross-game puzzles, or new info regarding both sides.
