The pics that's got The statue is the portrait gallery building.... as in "smithsonian"?

In all the pictures of them, they're out of focus and their surroundings are clearly seen. Maybe where they are is what's supposed to be the clue?

The portrait gallery is in London... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henry_Irving is about the man in the statue.

Yeah, since nothing says we're meant to view these in IE, I'd say the invisible part isn't intended.

The invisible part is just an artifact of viewing the file in a browser and how it doesn't wrap text while the source browser probably does.. Check the source to be sure there's no formatting of the text.

.OPH files 002-006 are all completely identical.

Ya know, I think that the location is also what is important in this section of clues.. all the pictures have some sort of " scene" or object in them that I feel is more inportant than the people ...
