I thought it was important to catch the essence of Abram's "umm" and "yeah"

he was trying to be very careful about what his answers were...

It's probably too much to ask for, but can somebody do a transcript, or at least put up some direct quotes (the speaker on this computer sucks ass) both about Cloverfield and The Dark Tower? Thanks.

First talked about Star Trek and how the studio moved up the date of the premier.

Moved on to Cloverfield…

Reelz: And obviously, such great success with Cloverfield.

JJ: Oh, thanks!

R: So much so, that you're already saying Let's do another one!

JJ: Uhh… there's an idea… uhh… that has come up.. uhh.. we're exploring. So, we'll see if it's… uhh… if it's worth doing, then hopefully we'll… uh… get a chance to do it.

R: And do you like that idea of the whole handheld and the whole camera difference?

JJ: Yeah…uh… yeah… I think to some degree, I think it can be a good thing. I think there are a lot of movies that… you know… seem to be doing that and so I think… I think that… Ya know… no gimmick is good once it's been done again and again and again so I feel like… umm.. ya know… I loved it when I saw it in "Blair Witch" and thought… how cool to sorta take that idea and… uh… kind of do a monster movie through that kind of prism. But… ya know… at a… at a certain point… uhh… it's the kind of thing… it probably wears out its welcome… uhh… ya know… for some people, probably while watching the movie (laughs). Ya know what I'm saying?? So…

R: Well, you'll just have to think of another monster I think.

JJ: another monster… uhh… yeah… another… another interesting way in. But we have some cool ideas and Drew Goddard, the writer, and Matt Reeves, the director, have sorta cooked something up so we're… uhhh… ya know… hopefully… that… that will get a chance to happen.

Went on to talk about Dark Towers. No details about that. She just mentioned it and he said it's in the very early stages and just collaborating with King and another guy.

That's it!

That doesn't sound like they're cooking up another monster, that sounds like the interviewer suggested another monster and he kinda went "Uh, yeah, we could do that, but we do have an idea of our own and we're kinda hoping to make 'that' happen."

That's how I interpreted it too, and it's exciting to think that maybe a "sequel" will not be what we are expecting, that they have a crazy idea up their sleeves!
