Then you very well might not be purchasing it!

In the higher quality (cooler) photos, they are not posed, hinting that they probably aren't posable.

Looks to me like they are poseable. It seems that they have a balljoint at the "shoulder", and a double hinged elbow joint as well. It's a bit hard to spot, but it seems to be there (I love how they managed to hide most of the articulation on this thing).

I noticed the same thing, but why wouldn't they pose them?

Why?

Why?!

Am I the only one who can clearly make out the joints in those little appendages?

I must have overlooked that in some of the pics. Hmm...

I hope you're right. And on another note, how come every time I type in <slaps> it ends up just reduced to <slaps>?

Nope. It was discussed earlier that there appear to be joints, but they aren't posed in the pictures.

Also, if you look closely, the "shoulder" might not be a point of articulation.

Notice the little skin folds, that imply a solid connection, not a ball-joint. It's pretty much impossible to tell unless we get one, or see it posed.

If that shoulder joint isn't posable, though, I'd say odds are pretty much nil that the "elbow" will.

Well, I totally missed all the excitement.

Yeah...the parasites don't look like the ones in the movie.
They look more like mini MGPs.

It just looks like they didn't spend a lot of time on them.

The monster looks great, although I thought the tail was longer. Worth a hundred bucks? Nah. Maybe fifty.

I find it quite disturbing how the monster has very similar hands to humans, compare the palm on that picture to the palm of your left hand, and imagine your hand without the ring finger and your index and middle twice as long.

Mmhm. Mutated human theory...still unexplainable, but has a new talking point.

cloverfield figure articulation
People sucking Arms

I'm new to this site and visit it every day especially the figure news since i ordered one, anyways regarding the chest arms and the joints, if you go to www.cooltoyreview.com there is a gallery for the cloverfield monster under the toy fair 2008 banner and there are clear pictures of the joints and articulation of the arms, if you look towars the bottom of the arms you can see thin lins going across indicating it can pivot.

Very nice find. Puts that speculation to rest.
