I think it would be more Skynet being upset that WE KNOW about NORAD now... Skynet probably took that out first so we would have no defense...

well I shot an email off to enitech in reference to the shot og the machine that looks like the centurion project machine dyson passed off to the DoD.

worth a shot. what if the resistance is able to take over centurions like T units? *shrug*

Well, I think from the pictures that it's obvious that Skynet will be using machines other than terminators in order to go after the human survivors... but there's always a possibility that there are still more machines that they use that we haven't seen yet... and they might not all be big, some could be even smaller than the human looking terminators.

Maybe Enitech should adopt a dog or two?

The only problem with that is that the message to Enitech didn't mention that there was something that Skynet didn't want us to see, but something that Skynet itself didn't want to see.

We do a first strike against our own DOD "Holiest of Holies"?

I'll tell you what SkyNet didn't want to see.

Wasn't the NORAD pic user submitted? If that's the one they're referring to, are they rewriting the game based on our input? Was this planned?

My guess is that it's probably referring to the "RESIST" signs. Or perhaps the big honkin' robot on 1/16?

Okay, that REALLY doesn't sound good... Y'all are still sure that we're not talking about some sort of small nuclear device, like, say, a "dirty bomb"?

Nuclear device: most likely. "Dirty bomb": it makes no logical sense. Skynet doesn't care about collateral damage; he'd be more than happy to drop 50 megatons on San Francisco and flatten the entire California coastline. He doesn't care about radioactive fallout.

I'm guessing SFO's hosed. Although the SFO picture on 1/08 shows buildings still standing...?

"There is no future but what me make for ourselves".
Things change, and destiny is malleable. That was what it would have looked like *before* Enitech started taking pics. Now Skynet knows about Enitech, and may well plant a 20 kiloton nuclear bomb in their parking lot, which obviously would change the SFO skyline a little, current and future...

If something huge is going to happen to Enitech Labs, I wonder if it'll be referred to in the TV show?

Ok, well see I'm not for a nuke, unless something IG will stop it exploding... the PMs can't really nuke SF Razz. IF something does happen to Enitech, it'll be something covert and effective within their office.

So, I'm either for that covert area-based attack and Enitech will be no more, or something big that we're supposed to stop somehow Smile

I'm thinking something like a "dirty bomb" on a small scale, just enough to take out Enitech itself. Maybe Skynet doesnt want the terminators there because the attack could damage their skin... which, granted, could be replaced, but we also know it's a difficult process to do.

Whatever Redclear Protocol is, it has been activated, and that's bad news.

I'm not sure if it's the NORAD picture. While Terminator 3 might not be canon according to this storyline, I think we can assume that Skynet is developing in the same manner as described in that film- specifically that Skynet does not have a headquarters, it is a distributed network enabled by the internet to exist.

As much as I would love to be the one to have ticked off Skynet with the NORAD pic, I’ve had a different thought that may actually make more sense.

Perhaps it isn’t thrilled about the pic showing the newspaper from the future. It did mention a mystery illness and quarantine in San Francisco. Perhaps the T’s are to stand down so that their tissue covering isn’t compromised by some form of biological warfare. If I were planning to use that form of attack sometime in the future I know I’d be pissed someone uncovered it by snapping a photo.

Another thought is that it is an Anti-Terminator Terminator more than capable of killing humans but also able to terminate compromised terminators. Thus all T-units stand down so that the non-compromised ones don’t risk being destroyed just because they are close to the primary Enitech targets.

I already sent the ideas off to the Resistance so I’ll let ya know what they say.
