 		Just got caught up..
Hey guys.

I've just spent the last couple hours getting caught up on this little ARG here and it feels good to be in-the-know for a moment or two.

I sent in my initial loyalty picture about an hour and a half ago - hopefully I'm not too late and I'll get accepted in as a disciple.

So this is kind of what I've been trying to work out in my head. Questions we should ask ourselves for clarity are in bold. Let me know if I made any mistakes.

There's an alternate reality, like a split in time, following the conception of a mutating virus in the United States. Called the "Sentient Virus" (there have also been mentions of the "Mercy Virus"), it has the ability to mutate and destroy life forms via head lice.

The conciever of the virus is Bowty.
His wife is Julie.
His daughter is Isabella.

Can we assume that Julie and Isabella died following the conception of the virus?

Bowty has, through one way or another, come into our reality for unknown reasons (or do we know?) with the virus. He threatens to unleash the virus upon our us and our reality.

Can his threats be a cry for attention due to his guilt for killing off his daughter and wife, assuming that the virus he created killed them?

The Lazarus Union (LU) is a group of people of which two people have come over from the alternate reality in order to keep Bowty from unleashing the virus.


Any thoughts? Corrections?

 		Actually there are MANY people in the Lazarus Union, but there are only 2 that reside in "our" world.

I just got an email from DF (BernardGSPLATwhyruralgod.com with an empty email. It might be spam but the site, whyruralgod.com, is forbidden, maybe a later use for meetings, but caution it might just be a spam email.

 		all good questions, and welcome aboard.

here's my take (speculation) on the whole thing so far, but I could be way off base. Args are tricky like that.

All we really know is that Bowty (Dr. Bottan) has the virus in his possession. We are only assuming that he created it, we are not sure. What we do know is that the bomb that lies in the water just off Tybee Island in our world actually exploded in their world killing thousands of people. We don't know if the bomb caused the virus or if the explosion released a virus that Dr. Bottan was working on or if something that he was working on combined with the nuclear stuff from the bomb created the virus. All we know is that he tried to save his daughter and keep the virus from spreading by quarantining her. Hopefully, jjoke will get more answers for us with his question.

Not sure about LU, they tell us they want to help us but their names leave room for doubt as to their real purpose.

Julie died when the incident happened (the bomb that exploded) Isabella died from the virus. So if the virus was conceived at the time of the incident then Isabella died following the conception of the virus. If the virus was conceived before the bomb then they both died following the conception.

I think that Bowty is trying to reassemble his team to try to undo what happened. <-- that is just a spec. cause we really don't know.

whyruralgod didn't turn up anything on Google for me....I think you're right, it was probably just a spam email, as I didn't get anything like that....

 		Thanks, very insightful reply.

Perhaps the explosion of the bomb at Tybee led to the destruction of a nearby research center, thereby releasing the virus?

I wonder if Bottan worked on the virus, or on the bomb.. or maybe he's just a civilian, but the Dr. title interests me.

Maybe we could look for research/medical labs near Tybee?

 		Albany, you really didn't read that did you or this whole thread or take the test? If you had of, you would have known his name is Dr. Bottan not Wotton. You only posted here in hopes to divert players to AIXO. Since, it's mostly an AIM arg you should have your hands full with that. Any of you playing that should understand that Albany is possible a plant by the PM or is one of the PMs and is posting in that thread to guide players.

..I'm sorry, I read words outloud in my head and Wotton stuck in my head for some reason. They sound quite a lot alike.

I'm not a plant, I could post the original message the PM for AIXO sent me.

I read the entire thread, messing up on one name is not enough to constitute an accusation like that, I went through the testing process mostly on my own with some tips from this thread, and I'm kind of offended that you don't believe me. :\

You can't ask him anything until he acknowledges that you have done what he ask. He will send an email to the group with the names on it who are allowed to ask a question. If your name isn't on the list then you can't ask a question as this time. But maybe later.

I think he answered one of your questions already.

 		oh shit, he did. Sorry, I'm watching the presidential debate and discussing what's going on with that and not paying attention.

Maybe ask him how he got the virus in the first place or why is LU chasing him. Anyone else got an idea.
