ok, so here is where the lawyer's daughter in me comes out. I am not sending a signature until I see the final product.

Larry's Rule for Clean Living #1: Never sign anything unless you have read it completely beforehand.

Larry's Rule for Clean Living #2: Never, EVER, skip rule #1.

Very Happy

It's probably going to take forever to get everyone organized and actually submitting their signatures. The signatures are the most time taking part of this.

I figure that you can just say later on 'Hey, don't add my signature after all', if you want. Because, honestly, is anyone here going to just add on a signature against a Passenger's will?

But whatever. Just my two cents. Smile

Here is what I've come up with for a letter to the Aces. Please feel free to point out any problems so that it can be smoothed out.

---------

No leader is perfect and each will have their flaws. However, there are times when these flaws are too great for the leader to maintain their position.

A leader should be confident in their power and aware of their boundaries. The Queen of Clubs possesses neither of these traits. She has proven her insecurity with her abilities by continuously overreaching in her position to seek more power. She has shown great disrespect to the Aces by performing actions that were meant to be reserved for their judgment alone. Her declaration of silencing Jonah and removing him from his position as Guide was a display of her greed for more power.

Her actions have been damaging to the Deck as a whole. By her willingness to trade away any member of the Deck, no matter what their supposed value or rank is, she shows grave disloyalty to the Deck. Even worse than that, she shows that she is unopposed to letting the Korporation gain an advantage as long as it aids her personal desires. She sought to sacrifice Jonah, someone who would be able to provide a damaging influence for the Korporation against the Deck and Passengers. This was only to regain Morcar for her own needs and desires.

In an address to the Passengers, her true cruelty and capability for hatred was discovered in text that she hid within the message. It is likely that she did this in order to keep her words from the Aces, an indication that she is aware of possibly displeasing them. Her cruelty has also showed itself through the actions and behaviour of a woman who worked as her personal assistant. This woman, known as Delilah, performed psychological torture on Edwin, The Four of Clubs.

The nature of a leader is often represented most clearly by those that work for them. Again, the Queen of Clubs was displaying her disloyalty to the Deck in the ease with which she was able to bring harm upon a Deck member. It seems clear through her continued actions that she does not have the needs of the Deck kept in mind.

Sincerely,
The Passengers

The Queen of Club's Transgressions

* Silenced Jonah and took away his position as Guide
* Attempted to trade away a member of the Deck
* Sought to give Korp an advantage
* Her hidden words in her address to the Passengers : http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh120/Lurker11-11/QueenAddress.png

EDIT: I reworded it some. Let me know what you think.

I really didn't want to post this in public until it was proof read. But here goes.

AND YES, I DID COPY AZURE'S FORMAT. BUT DON'T LET HER KNOW. SHHHH.

-------

To the Aces:

We, The Passengers, would like to bring to the attention of The Aces, the recent and unfavorable acts committed by The Queen of Clubs. We deem her unfit for her current position and, as of late, have had no choice but to question her abilities and integrity with the power she has been allowed. It has been abused, leading to the endangerment of her fellow Deck members, as well as Passengers. We feel her use of questionable third parties in a delicate matter involving the well-being of Deck members was grossly irresponsible, disturbing and outright wrong.

She has proven to us, by use of a leery third party and her willingness to trade Cards, of and not of, her own suit, to be an act of distasteful selfishness. She has disregarded those above and below herself for her own agenda and we feel it is a blatant act of disrespect to The Deck. She has even gone to such lengths as to ignore diplomacy and insult The Passengers through a letter addressed to the public, as a means to invoke fear and submission. Her loyalty should undergo heavy scrutiny.

Her allowance of a beloved member of The Deck who plays an important role to The Passengers to be sacrificed in a deal with The Korporation, for her own personal gain, clearly demonstrates her insufficiency as The Queen of Clubs. Her reckless behavior has become a concern about the safety of The Passengers and The Deck. These are the reasons we are addressing this letter to you. We believe this should be hastily rectified. You, The Aces, not only have the means to resolve this conflict, but have the trust and support of The Passengers in your decision, whatever the outcome may be.

Sincerely,
The Passengers

In addition to the above listed reasons, here is a list of documented transgressions committed by The Queen of Clubs:

* Jonah's unprovoked silence and demotion of 'Guide' status.

* Attempt to trade a Deck member for selfish and treacherous reasons.

* The attempt to supply The Korporation with an unfair advantage over The Deck.

* Insulting of The Passengers through hidden means on a publicly addressed form: http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh120/Lurker11-11/QueenAddress.png

This is a mashed together and edited version of mine and Fusebox's letters. We're both satisfied with it. Is everyone willing to use this letter?

I think we're worrying about that later. I know the thought has been brought up before and I believe there were a few reasons that we decided not to, but I honestly can't recall what they were.

I don't even know who we could suggest anyway, with how few of clubs are actually available of the ones that have been revealed to us.

I haven't seen very many female clubs lately. I don't want to send a man in to do a woman's job. Razz

Revision
-- 'm a proof-reading whore .. heh

We, the Passengers, would like to bring to the attention of The Aces, the recent and unfavorable acts committed by her Majesty – The Queen of Clubs. We have had no choice but to question her decisions and integrity with the dominance she has been allowed. We now harbor uncertainty in her authority as a ruling factor within our Journey. Also, the power she has been allowed has been used unjustifiably. It has been most slanderously abused, leading to the endangerment of her fellow Deck members, as well as Passengers. We feel her use of questionable outside sources in a delicate matter involving the well-being of Deck members was grossly irresponsible, out of line and disturbing.

She has proven to us, by use of a leery, third party alongside her willingness to trade Cards (of, and not of, her own suit) to be acting out of distasteful selfishness. Her Majesty is also disregarding those above and below herself in the name of own agenda. We feel this is a blatant act of insolence towards The Deck. She has even gone to such lengths as to ignore diplomacy and insult the Passengers through a seemingly innocent letter addressed to the public; a means, no doubt, to invoke fear and submission. It is our belief that she hid the text of this occurrence in order to keep her words from the Aces and continue to be seen in a favorable light. This is an indication that she is aware of possibly displeasing them. Yet, despite this, her Majesty went ahead with these actions. Her loyalty should undergo heavy scrutiny at this point.

Furthermore, her allowance of a beloved member of The Deck, one whom plays an important role to the Passengers, no less, to be sacrificed in a deal with The Korporation. This clearly demonstrates her insufficiency as The Queen of Clubs. We strongly feel that a leader should be confident and satisfied with their power, while also aware of where their boundaries lay. Her Majesty seems to possess neither of these traits. She has proven irrefutable insecurity towards her diplomatic duties by continually reaching beyond her position in order to seek more power. Performing actions that are solely reserved for the Aces' judgment alone can only be perceived as a great act of disrespect to them. Her reckless behavior has become a significant reason for concern in regards to the safety of the Passengers, but specifically The Deck.

Provided are articles of evidence in regards to the most heinous acts which have been addressed within this letter. We would hope that this situation be hastily rectified. You, the most venerable Aces, not only wield the means to resolve this conflict, but have the support and trust of the Passengers in your decision. Whatever the outcome may be, we will not dispute.

With unanimous reverence, the Passengers –

(signatures go here)

FEEDBACK: As you can see, I have left 'The Deck' capitalized as such, without leaving the Passengers in the same grammatical frame. It is not a means of putting ourselves beneath them, but out of uncertainty as to how we feel we should present ourselves. Personally, I see us as a group rather than an organization. Hence, I have left the 'the' uncapitalized in front of ourselves.

If you feel this should be rectified, please feel free to leave me feedback. Depending on how many responses I get, and their nature, I will or will not change this (all depends on the majority). So, please, make your voice heard.

Thanks!
