[INFO/TROUT] Melissa: What it means, why it may be important

I just came up with something BIG.

There is a key to the name Melissa. Like alot of other references, Melissa also comes from Greek mythology.

It's related to a different verson of the Fable on Dana's site:
http://www.ilovebees.com/fable.html

http://www.melissa.net/meaningofmelissa.htm

The name Melissa means Honey Bee.

This is the story:

Melissa was a nymph that cared for Zeus an infant, when Zeus was hidden from his father, Cronus, the king of the Gods, Melissa plundered bee hives in order to feed honey to Zeus, who developed a permanent sweet tooth.

When Melissa's role in protecting Zeus was discovered she was turned into an insect.

Zeus later took pity on her and turned her into a Honey Bee.

I find it interesting that, if we combine this fable with the version from Dana's site, the *Queen* Bee's name would be *Melissa*.

Perhaps this is why the Operator/Melissa/The Queen chose Dana's site. What, if in her delirum, she chose a place that was literaly calling her name?

A gentle trout for you:

Trout

Discussed in many threads, and speculated a bit here, for example.
