Yes, I did that and heard the conversation but at the climax of it just prior to the gunshot it told me I had missed an opportunity for Prestige, I'm not really sure what I could have done...

I don't think there's anything else to pick up but you might find you still need to look at a couple of things - there's something by the hand you didn't find the hair in and it might pay to check his pockets more than once...

you need the sound on cause i did the same thing. move the glass around until the sound is the clearest. if you do it for long enough then it will give you the Prestige.
