i guess

i guess they're kind of working on our timeline???

it's also occurred to me recently that for all of the work they're putting into this thing it's crazy that only about 5 of us are involved...

just thinking...

Well, for one thing, it's cooler if five of us save the world as opposed to a whole mess of us.

[META] For another, it makes it easier for the PM to focus on character interaction

It is sad to see that the number following has waned a bit. The strange thing is this game has had great puzzles and content, not to mention that the PMs appear to be pretty sharp. So many other games seem to be made up on the fly and leave players hanging for days and weeks on end, but this has had nice pacing and it's obvious a lot of work went into planning and execution.

Granted it's hard for anyone to start following now, really underscoring the fact that we needed to start a wiki. I wonder how many were playing when it started as the on-campus adventure at TAMU? You'd think that when the two trailheads combined here it would have increased the numbers, but it seems just the opposite. I just wish I weren't at work when I follow this as it limits the amount of interaction I can do at times (not to mention I suck at interaction).

At any rate, I'm having a lot of fun and I hope the PMs think about doing another game in the future.

Numbers following

Just to say that although there appear to be a few active players, there are a huge number lurking and following the story, myself included.

I've wanted to dive in a few times but the problem is that:

a) Started reading when the thread was about 10 pages so spent time playing catch up

b) I only access UF in the evenings (I know, imagine my bosses actually wanting me to do work Wink ) and find that, due to the speed people that people like Kos and Mr Toasty solve items, that both the puzzle and the solve have been posted by the time I log on.

Really hope that when this finishes that the PMs consider something new and that I can get in on the start.

Yep, she just sent that to me as well. Page title is Streng Geheim

Wonder if we were supposed to have found this before. Crap.

Toasty, I dont think we could have found this before. I have been trolling www.moonfruit.com (the hosting company used for all the Junker sites) a couple of times a day for a few days searching every word/title I could think of looking for a site for the missing project/location that showed up as ????? on the Junker site. I know for a fact I searched for Gjallarhorn a few times, and it always came up blank on the search.

Also as to the numbers, I think there must be a few people like myself that have been lurking more. I tend to have more time for this sort of thing during the day rather than the evening, and you folks move on most things so fast I usually find I am playing catch up.

BTW, good to know that there are more than a few of us still following this one. Also good that we weren't behind - PMs have been good about gently prodding us when we're missing something. For those that are lurking, don't hesitate to make contact with any of the characters if you want. New wrinkles are always fun to iron out. Smile

i'm glad

i'm glad i brought this up! i'm happy there are more reading this!

i'd really like some help dealing with these junkers! i didn't like feeling the pressure of being a main source of contact there for 24 hours!!!

i'd love to see what happened if someone they didn't know about emailed the junkers and tried to freak them out by letting them know there's another "layer" of investigators or something!

i say go for it!

Hey guys im still here, this has been fun to follow but I seem to be really behind in the solving dept.

You all seem to figure out what methods to translate things and have them done before i even get started so I think id jus slow you guys down

But this has been a good game to follow, since the little monster in the beginning

I love that card SOOO much. It's great when you get it in the first turn, and "forget" to constantly remind your opponent until it's too late. Although, the 2000 point cost really irks me.

Oh... wrong subject. Gomenasai.

On topic: I think I'm considered dead now. Ever since I pissed off VI and got that pic of Yori's final moments, every character has been ignoring me, despite the fact that until recently there was only 5 of us to pay attention to.

Come think of it kat, was that your plan? to expose us ALL?

Wait a minute...Kat, are you working for Junker now?
