Greenhorn is the lowest, then boot, then veteran...keeps going. Some people have special titles...

I'm pretty sure it's just random Very Happy

Either that or its the groundwork for an elaborate ARG that will begin whence someone reaches 10,000 posts...

Since I never actually answered what the ranks mean in the other thread, what the hell, I'll do it here.

Of course, I started changing the default ranks immediately when we set up this board. I knew that I wanted to call 0-posters lurkers because, hey, it just makes sense seeing as how that's what we already called people who read along but didn't post.

But what happens when they post? Well, the first thing that sprang to mind was an image of someone poking their head into a room to check things out and this pretty much immediately led me to Kilroy, which is a somewhat dated American pop culture reference from around WWII.

Yes, a bit. Though it usually takes me a bit to notice that the change has occured.

Heck, when i was reading this thread a minute ago, I had to go and look at my current rank just to see what it was!

i know what you mean, i didnt notice my rank went up from boot till i was ten posts in to being a veteran
