tygr had ot go, now I do too - if you can get the ringtone, you can use windows' own sound recorder to record the sound or use audacity to get it into a wav file on your machine.
HOWEVER, transferring the file directly would be HUGELY better, as it'll allow people to listen to the original. Directions ehre: http://www.somelifeblog.com/2007/01/motorola-razr-v3-how-to-charge-and.html
but I completely and totally understadn if that' too risky for you - the actual motorola tools to achieve this are apparently expensive, and this is not a "supported" method. So a wav file is just as good (you've got a mic.. right?)

Nice Work! Nice Job Mousekinn, Wow that is quite haunting for a ringtone eh? Don't know if I am going to run out and change comm providers over it though. Or hack my phone for that matter.

it sounds like an actual Yeibichai chant for a dance, with some additional music added. It's a shame we can't find someoen to get the full music file, but I by no means expect anyone to sign onto sprint or crack their phoen's filesys (though the above link did sound relatively safe, ti's just a file management system)
frustrating!
EDIT
Ah it is - it's an edited version of Music of the Navajo Indians - Night Chant: Yeibichai. They've got the first part of teh chant, followed by that odd twang. I know Tygr pulled it out on teh spectrometer earlier, but the fuzzing over the noise makes me think there's something hidden in the sound.
This may or may not matter: http://www.learner.org/amerpass/unit01/context_activ-2.html
Interesting, though, that the Night Chant is a ceremony of healing. Here is a very rough translation of the chant:

Here is the file. It's catchy, except for that darn morse code at the end.
Edit. Here is a download link if you are having trouble with this attachment.

By the way...
I kept meaning to ask. Was there a Cheyenne broadcast last weekend? I wasn't at home to check and I didn't see any mention here. The last broadcast I found anyone posting about was the Yeibichai morse code from 2 weeks ago.

Hi everyone, I've been lurking for a couple of weeks and just joined figuring that I might be able to help with this.
I confirm the "HELPUS", but I think that there is a space in between the P and the U.

No Cheyenne broadcast last week, just dead air from what I've heard.
Now here's the fun - what do we help with? x_x
And what the heck is the convoy doing? it's goign from sw Wyoming up to MT and SD, looping around for a bit, then repeating.

I'm currently working with the spectrogram, looking for something, anything, and looking for any sounds out of our normal hearing range, anything above 20kHz. Nothing so far.

I find it amusing that the bookmark image for http://www.chat-solutions.org/ is the same as Ravenwood Solutions

The yeibichai train disappeared off the map around noon PST - it was mostly off the map save for one and a half segments at 11:30 this morning. It entered into northeastern Utah.
Why is it all the clues I find are so obtuse?
edit, roughly 6pm PST: oh hey they're back. ignore me <.<

I just get this gut feeling that we're being given a million clues about one specific thing that we were supposed to get a long time ago.

I may just be a noob at this. I've been trying to catch up for about a month right now. My brain really isn't comprehending it all. But, I thought I'd just through this out there. Is there any reason Buckley AFB, Lakewood, Denver and Aurora Colorado would be blinking orange? I'm still so far behind the power curve, but, I hadn't seen any post on this so I thought it might be useful. Also, there's a C-130 Flying north west, I picked him up over the train. Also two vehicles designation 654-20 -3 ACR and 654 - 21 -3 ACR are traveling south past F.E Warren. Don't know if it means anything though. Don't hurt me too much if I'm just cluttering up your webtraffic with babble.
Thanks,
JonnyJ
