Looks interesting. I'm correct in the assumption that the site isn't working, correct?

ETA: subscribe to the blog - note the address (a peek behind the curtain it seems Confused)
http://clearspacex.mcd.sf.aqa.com/clearspacexpostgres/blogs/ariadne/feeds/posts

AKQA - the team behind Iris (Halo 3) which would explain how they got my address Smile
bah! I debated even posting this... but it's so obvious at this point, just wanting to subscribe to the blog feed. Rolling Eyes

ETA2: actually it seems like there's a bunch of potential test/meta stuff in there at the moment. If you don't want to peek, I'd suggest not opening the site for a bit. *tsk* PMs: make sure your site is ready by the same you send out directions for people to visit it *sigh*

dunno what to think at this point... I mean the package seems so professional and slick, but the site is a mess Confused

I had to call in a lot of favors to get something built so quickly... but trust me, you're going to love it, it's exactly what you need. I'll get the guys to work all weekend on it, it should be up first thing Monday morning. Get the video ready, I'm sure someone will recognize you... -- Kai

March the 3rd seems to be a recurrent date. Would this have anything to do with Ms. McGonigal's super secret project? The last slide of her GDC presentation said "Alter your reality 03-03-08". Wether it is or not, this sure sounds interesting.

EDIT: we should keep an eye on youtube or other video sharing websites, as the character says "Get the video ready, I'm sure someone will recognize you...". Or maybe it's a video for this website, but we never know.

Hi guys,

I received today a package as well. Same same but different. I have other postcard motifes. The ball of wool is red, I don't have the small slides of paper and on the package is another message. It says "This is a clew".

Yeah, lucky you two receiving cool stuff in the mail.

Kstar030, are there any character's names in the stills/postcards/papers?
(and could you post some pictures? Thanks!)

The Beijing olympics will be from 8th August to 24th.

Here's the wikipedia page from the 1920 Olympics that was referenced earlier. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1920_Olympics

Kstar030, was your postcard also from the 1920 Olympics or from another one?

and fyi, Ariadne is a greek goddess (seems applicable to the olympics), and Kai... well, could be any number of things, including (hee!) a hero from Lexx Very Happy

of course it could also just be simply what this person was named...

Yay! I had one of these boxes waiting for me when I got home from work. It was addressed to Mr Myf (which amused me - people who see the name myf always seem to assume it's a male name, but it's not). They're definitely sending these things internationally - I'm in the UK.

My box had "Curiouser and curiouser" written on 2 sides.

Inside the parcel was:

  • the 1920 Belgium Olympics poster as above
  • a ball of white, yellow, green & blue yarn (with the same message as posted by thebruce on the front and "You will soon encounter a puzzling situation" on the reverse, though I missed the tiny slip of paper when I first looked)
  • 3 cards.

The card backs say the same as posted by thebruce, but the fronts are different. I've chucked scans onto my Flickr page if anyone wants to have a look at the pictures. I can't identify the places depicted, so I don't know if they're the 1920 Games or not. If anyone wants to do some detective work, I can post the reference numbers from the pictures.
