I must say this is the most confusing and emotional month I've spent with any ARG that I can recall, and possibly with any online community in my life.
That's been the beauty of Eldritch Errors. It has grabbed our emotions. I, personally, experienced a tremendous feeling of loss when the original Sentries were murdered. I still feel the sting of tears when I think about Marie, or Jen or Kevin or any of the others. That's why we are all taking it so hard I think. I feel intensely involved with everyone here. Never have I felt so strongly that This is Not a Game...

I have to agree wholeheartedly with your thoughts WolfHawk... I know for one I was so personally involved in this whole thing that it became a significant part of my actual day to day life in a fun and awesome way. I love anything that can get my emotions running, my mind thinking, and my spirits soaring and this whole experience has done all of that for me. I really look forward to hearing what's going on and what may be happening next and the unfortunate cause for our delays! Here's to hoping that GMD's all good and we'll be back on our feet soon enough!

This makes me so sad. Eldritch (and all you guys!) became such a HUGE, moving part of my last few months. It was the first time that I was able to get into a game right from the beginning and really fully participate, so I can't help feeling so attached to the whole thing. I hope everything sorts itself out and gets rolling again.

Same boat here, just different captain. I am quite attached to EE and would love to see it start back up again. Here's to hoping . . .

Old news, but ARGN did have a followup piece on 2/29. I didn't see it linked here, although sadly there isn't any new information: http://www.argn.com/archive/000704eldritch_errors_no_news_is_bad_news.php

We contacted GMD Studios for comment and were promised a statement from The Powers That Be but none has been forthcoming. So, without any indication as to the whys and hows of the current state of affairs, I'm ready to call this stalled.
Not an official death sentence, but still, it's been three weeks without a word. When I said that I loved EE toying with my emotions, I never thought in this way.

That is great nameless person !!
And folks, tomorrow (or today for some of you) marks the one-year anniversary of the beginning of this game. Varin posted the first post about the packages in the Trailhead on April 16th, 2007.
Kinda makes the last nine weeks seem even more lame, huh?
