I forgot to ask this earlier. Since we seem to be coming a bit closer to full circle as far as where this all started, is is possible that the Hydra reference has something to do with the Lernaean Hydra clue from the beginning?

Not sure what the Japan reference would be then.

Wow people, big developments!
(And I was away this hours, hehe)

Btw. you can always refer me aka Vlad, its cool and OK Smile
Even if you chat with Junkers.

Btw why the sudoku picture of Yori has the name 21352321643?..

000001 as VonMoltke can be reasonable.

I was wondering that myself. The picture with the boxes that goes with it has a strange name like that as well.

OK, I've transfered your results (good job, everyone!) to crossword

So I suppose, the result of sudoku would be a word with letters according crossword numbers. We get now:

21352321643 (title of Sudoku) = RK?BR?RKVV?

232348575 (result of Sudoku) = R?R?VWBLB

Well, with various ROT-encoding I have no clue...
Perhaps we have to find out the Hydra

I've also thought firstly about Lernaean Hydra. And my question is, whether that request at Rudder Complex was finished? Because this was the last "IG ARG request"

I know for sure that the Hydra clue was found from what is now known as the ARG that Eric made up.

I am the one that found the clue. However, at that time, I did not have a camera. A friend of mine took pictures of the clue though, and I'm sure I could dig them up if you guys want them.

ETA:
Ok. I see. I'm caught up now. The hydra from earlier was a painting on the wall in Rudder. The painting depicted various theatre forms. It ranged from Greek (where the hydra is) to modern jazz or something like that. My guess is that part of the painting is a likeness of Japan and that something on the painting, or some hidden clue, is what will answer the crossword.

I could certainly try to check it out tomorrow morning, but my guess is that the Rudder Complex will be locked on a Sunday.

What can you tell me to look for if the clue is on the painting itself? We think that it is a 15 letter word with "t" as the third letter, correct?

Gotterdammerung

I went to the painting in Rudder Theater where the original hydra clue was found. On the same painting (a mural really) there was a likeness of a Kabuki (sp?). Below this part of the painting, there was a typed note. It read only: Gotterdammerung.

Sweet! We've had reference to that here before, including a very short-lived website.

Cool! "Götterdämmerung" is very fitting in the concept.

Here we are, the crossword.

And also result of Sudoku: RGRGVWBLB...
or the first letters of all words (like in Johns blog)

I guess that the idea is that Eric left these things around Texas A&M once he knew he was going nuts and after he ate Lucy's brain.

I wonder what's on the CD!!!!?!?!?!
