Yesterday I was thinking that if this such a large scale game, they would be sending packages also to key members of online press/blogs (a la The Dark Knight campaign), and this seems to match. On another note, the site (findthelostring) isn't working yet.

Has there been any confirmation that this is Jane's work, aside from speculation based on the launch date? The error message seems a little sloppy for someone with so much experience.

I decided to follow find thelostring.com as an instruction and found that thelostring.com had the same access denied message.
However, they are now different. I assumed that thelostring.com was just pointing at findthelostring.com but (I'm guessing) this means that it's not (?)

thelostring.com was created in April 07, if I read the whois correctly, whereas findthelostring.com was more recent. It'll be interesting to see if they will show different information or not once we get access.

Alright my acount wont log me in so i'll just have to do it this way. yeah it is 7:29 here in little old siloam springs arkansas and i just heard about this arg so i thought i'd check it out so yeah i tried to get onto both thelostring.com and findthelostring.com and they both don't work so i'll keep trying.

The fortunes all (?) say "The adventure begins when you meet Ariadne. [and then the URL]" Also - everybody who got the package got the postcard with "Find Her.."

Perhaps Ariadne is the one to be found, and that the website wont go up until she is found. Is the postcard with "find her..." always the one with the swimming arena? In that case, isn't that where she is to be found, today on the third of march?

So, who's in Belgium?
