On closer inspection, "airtight container" is mentioned twice on the killer.jpg text. Once, regarding the Sleeping Princess and secondly,in reference to the innocent bystander (who may, or maynot, be the same person).
Whether it's important that is was taken from the Medicine page....*shrug*

these recipes... and the connection of the airtight container, have to have some relevance. Looking at the pages, you see a marked difference between the recipes and the other pages: they're relatively untouched by SPDR and the operator, etc. Part of this is that they have less images, but there is no spliced in text or other means of messing up the page that we see everywhere else.

From an OOG perspective, this tells me that the PMs wanted us to see these pages and not be distracted by the Widows story, the Operators Monologue, and the embedded text puzzles. They wanted there to only be these recipes for us to think about.

From an In-game perspective, this makes me think (like I'm sure many others) that these recipes, or the changes in them, may be a message from an Entity, probably the Pious Flea (or whoever is contacting us through the killer.jpg's).

Thoughts?

Alternate IG explanation:

The Flea (or whoever is sending messages through killer.jpg) uses bits of text from the site, as well as bits of text from our e-mails. The recipe came first, not the messages. Thus, the two references to "airtight container" are a result of that phrase appearing in the recipe, not a cause of it.

Alternate OOG explanation:

The PMs knew they (and SPDR) were going to need more space for future updates before the medium metastasized in two weeks, so they created additional pages for future use. (I hope I hope I hope! Mr. Green )

That may be true, I hadn't thought of the possibility of it just being filled up with junk as the operator begins to awaken more and more. I just have to think that we're missing some clue or puzzle. I'm the paranoid type, so I'm not satisfied with the idea that the community is "done" until the next update.

And about the shared text... I dunno. The Flea seems to be limited to our text (except the voodoo stuff?) so as to evade detection, but not the Widow's Journey. All the stuff about the staff, the knife, that's not stuff lifted from ilovebees, so I find it hard to think that some of the text would be lifted, and not others... Exclamation unless parts of the original text was lost in the crash/etc. and the little holes are being filled in with the available text to the SPDR? That almost makes sense, but seems kind of out there right next. I'll have to re-read the Journey to see if there are any other phrases that don't seem to jell with the tone of the rest of the text.

The two stories in the recipes have to play a huge roll also. They are telling us something about the game.
What do you think they are related to?
sorry if fishy Trout

I just noticed this. People have said that the recipes pages were left untouched. That is not true. There is something wrong with the pages now. Come flaws in the pages

First off, I realize you are new to forums, but there's an edit button for a reason (that reason being that you shouldn't have multiple consecutive posts). Also, the note was that the "text" on the recipies pages are left largely unaltered, whereas on other pages they are covered w/ various other texts/pictures, which might lead us to believe that they are important/unsolved.
