Countdown clock I saw in an ad
This is a large version of an ad I saw on one of my regular sites. Didn't know if this was the start of a viral marketing campaign that might be of interest. Just curious if anyone else has seen this. I tried doing a forum search for the two bits of text that come up but I didn't see any mention of them in the forums yet.

 		Interesting.... You do realise that if you watch it for a minute (or click it not sure) it begins to play a video with a woman right?

I don't actually want to watch it right now in case it scares the shit out of me lol. But yeah just thought I'd mention that.

Edit Scroll over the clock it comes up with

It seems to be the 'editing sequence' of a blog and you can see the following has been typed.

A lovely marketing guy in the US has been following the site for a while - hello there - and my boss is supposed to be meeting himi and some IBM honchos next week to present the new PDA prototype. I haven't got the first class ticket, but still; it's a free trip and a big meeting and it's all because of this blog.

So, just a reminder that I won't be posting for a while. I'll be too busy shopping and eating and checking out what's hot in the big apple. That and attending the biggest meeting of my life. The guy we're meeting sent me an MMS with his picture so I'll recognise him, and it suddenly feels a bit real.

The flight leaves in about an hour. Wish me luck. See you on the other side.


And yes the HTML coding's in there, as I said it's all done as if we were editing it...

I also found that DPS-4 039, is apparently a transmitter at the HAARP facility in Alaska.

Yeah I emailed, had nothing yet.

Apparently Subspots is something to do w/ places dotted around where mobile/cellphone reception isn't that great or something.

Could have something to do w/ the "Stalkerish" vid of the girl in the park trying to get a good signal on her phone?

Edit: Actually now I'm reading more into it... SUBSPOTS has something to do w/ the military and places like these areas where only specially built cell phones can pick up a secret military signal that connects you to a kind of emergency internet. Apparently they built it because it could survive nuclear / EMP attacks if that happened.

This is apparently what the image on your cell will look like if you're using one in a subspot.

 		This looks interesting. As for why subspots might be mentioned in the video, maybe the stalker (if that's what's going on there) knows about them and wanted her at one for some reason? I've emailed as well. I took the angle that I was letting her know about the .jpg in case it was an accident.

Just to let you know that jpg didn't have anything to do w/ the site/game... I found it elsewhere whilst looking up Subspots.

No, I mean the .jpg on her site, the blog one. I didn't think the subspots .jpg had shown up anywhere.

Glad to see I wasn't double posting this, I always worry about clogging up the message boards. I found this countdown in a small form at www.milkandcookies.com which is just a link collection site, it is on the left side of the screen as a small ad, for those who can't get to kontraband's site to see the countdown thing. Anyway, I saw the two video clips and I'm trying to firgure out if this is the start of something or not. It looks like the lady has a key around her neck, don't know if that's important for something later or not. I always like the ARGs but I honestly suck at them, so if there is anything else to this I'm probably going to be the last person to find it.

 		Well, the recent LOST episodes did revolve heavily around the whole "Time dilation (sp?)" thing, so it wouldn't surprise me.

I really don't think it's related, though.
