She did mention that they appeared to be workout clothes, so I'll agree with you on that point. It sure does make figuring out what sport she plays harder though if it has nothing to do with what she does.

This pic was my reference for the goggles, worn by an Olympian named Karen Scavotto. Although they look more like sunglasses then actual goggles. I'll research all of the other sports as well. It's my day off, so why not?

Actually I was thinking about that today, and I wanted to ask the more experience in ARGers in here, if the rabbithole can be OOG or has to be IG. Because in the light of what we know now (which is not a lot, considering this is going to be a huge ARG and it started not even a week ago), we can't put that in-story.

 		It's been a long time since I did archery (and not competitively even then), but the outfit Ariadne was found in really doesn't look like archery gear to me. I'm reasonably confident that the standard competition wear is something like a T-shirt or polo shirt, rather than anything more fancy.

Don't feel particularly discouraged or brushed-off, this (has to or just will) happen as anyone who suddenly acquires 100 email penpals has got to do something to manage their time.

And in a way, that's why Ariadne has a blog, because it shotguns her message across hundreds of readers at once and allows those readers to publicly respond.

 		sorry about the double post, but some other posters are starting to think along the same lines as something that has been bothering me about the packages...

are we to assume the delivery of the package is OOG, or IG?

I'm assuming it's IG...which means the following:

Someone who was in the bay area at the end of last month was sending packages to people in a covert anonymous attempt to begin to expose "the secret." it also means the person responsible for the packages has intimate knowledge of Ariadne and her predicament, as well as her website address. And it also means the person sending the package knows MORE than Ariadne is letting on that she knows. So either Ariadne knows more than she says she does, (assuming her and her website creators are working together) or someone else is manipulating the entire situation, and using Ariadne, us, and the other amnesiacs as pawns in a chess game designed to reveal this secret that they are trying to get out.

That tells me that the person responsible for the packages is probably someone who is involved with the secret, but doesn't want other people who are also involved, to know they are about to reveal the truth. A rogue agent, for lack of a better word.

Could Kai be this person? Maybe...
