Not necessarily - perhaps we found people quicker than expected, and it is just referring to one of the amnesiac fellows.

Another possibility that has occurred to me is that we're meant to physically go out and "find him" - in other words, one of us needs to arrange to actually meet with someone. It seems a bit unlikely that there'd be someone near to those locations who speaks the right languages to make this a feasible option, but who knows?

actually I leave near Diego`s location, its just 30 min away from my house haha, so maybe I can arrange a meeting.

Hi guys,
This is my first ARG and so far, it's really exciting.
Now, I've been reading the forums for the past couple of days since I don't have much time on my hands to participate actively.
However, I do believe that I can help somewhat now that we have found Lucie. Being from Montreal, Quebec, I could help translate from english-french and french-english (I'm fluent in both, kinda). If you need my help, just pm me and I could send you my e-mail.

Keep up the hard work guys.

P.S. I think I'll go sign up on the Language resource page.

Edit to avoid double-posting

Btw, where is the language resource pages? I forgot >_<

Ariadne updated her blog to include the 6th athlete. Nothing else looks new though, and the date is still yesterday's, it just been an edited post.

I think there must be a link to the use of esperanto on the tattoo. 5 people all speaking languages. Esperanto was designed as a common second language. Perhaps the key for them to connect with each other is this language?

In addition to the link already posted to online Esperanto courses, there's an excellent multi-lingual site here for those interested in learning Espernato:

www.lernu.net

There are over a dozen courses, for beginners, intermediate or advanced level students. There's even an instant messenger service to chat to other users of the site.

I ought to add that Esperanto was conceived to be many times easier and quicker to learn than national languages, and in this it succeeds in spades.

Good luck!

he sent me an email telling me they are part of a circus company

Oops, i didn't know that part of the history, my fault lol

TO THE WIKI !!!!

I think that we tend to use the discussion thread for breaking events, but we've got to distill information to the wiki (and give references) in order to make sure we're all up-to-date with the information we each discover. Information-coordination is key to this game (and every ARG).

Lucie indicates that the church she woke up in is in Britagne.

I believe the church is actually "Basilique de Guingamp" in France.
For information and pictures see here:

Edit to avoid double post

Also see:
http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:Search?search=Basilique+de+Guingamp+

That is the same place as the "Church of Notre Dame" in Guingamp, Brittany.

Whoever I am, and whatever my life USED to be like, one thing is sure. My life is very weird these days... especially now that I have penpals in 10 countries so far (and counting!) trying to help me figure out who I am.

I love getting your emails and comments. You guys are full of ideas. The most popular theory so far is that I'm some kind of missing Olympian. (And that the others who woke up in labyrinths with amnesia are missing Olympians, too.)

Are six national teams out there missing their star athletes? So far no one has been able to figure out which ones.

I have to admit, I'd love to find out I'm some kind of superhero athlete. But I'm not so sure. It seems like someone would have recognized me by now if that were true. And of course it doesn't quite explain how the six of us got amnesia, and why we all have this crazy tattoo. What on earth is "the lost ring", and why are we supposed to find it?

I'm convinced that the only way we're going to figure this thing out is to find a connection between a "lost ring" and the Olympics. Seems like this is a good place to start looking for a connection... http://www.olympic.org/uk/index_uk.asp
Will you please help me? Maybe you'll spot a clue that I overlooked...

While searching for Parkour-Olympics info, I found out that "climbing" is supposedly an event in 2008, which sort of borders on Parkour.

In that board I found anti-UF mention. Does somebody know, what is UF (UrbanFreeflow), and why somebody is anti-UF? I ask because I found in Germany often recently graffiti "anti-UF" (I thought at the first moment about some unfiction-unfriendly persons, hehe)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Urban_freeflow
It seems that Urban Freeflow is a UK-based organization that is introducing the idea of competitive sport into Parkour, an idea with which the Parkour originators disagree. "in 2006 the global Parkour community started to urge its members to simply ignore any events that are related to Urban Freeflow"

off-topic: I'm sure that all of us on Unfiction would love to see some pictures of graff that proclaimed "anti-UF". Pictures when/if you see it next?

I think we are getting to the point where we need some pretty serious organization.

Speaking for myself, I know that I am getting lost about what each person has told us -- particularly because the information has to be translated and retranslated.

Is it possible for people to begin posting the *original* emails that they receive from our new friends on the wiki, so that credible translations can be created and edited as needed? Many many thanks to the people who have been communicating with these people in their native languages, but it is beginning to confuse me.
