[RING] [EMAIL] Noriko March 4
unfortunately, its complete gibberish to me

I sent Noriko an email this morning asking some general questions about where she woke up and what she was wearing. And whether or not she was an athlete. I suspected that I knew the answers to some of these, but thought I would ask anyway. I ran my questions through BabelFish and translated it to Japanese so she could read it.

She wrote back in Japanese. Naturally I ran it through Babelfish and what came out was largely unintelligible. I will post the original first, then the babelfish translation:

(my first name is "Rob" & this part was in black text)

私も、とても運動能力はあるし、とても健康だと思います。
それに、道に迷った事ないです。

この間ミキさんに、車で１０キロ程離れた岡山駅まで連れていってもらって、そこで降ろしてもらいました。そこから走って帰ったけど、道に迷わず、帰ってきたんだよ！自分でも凄いな～、と思っちゃいました。

目覚めたのは、ここ岡山にあるラビリンス、２月の１２日だよ。当惑、というか、すごく混乱してたよ。今でもしてるけど。＾＾；　でも一人じゃない分、不安は減ったかな。

皆ゴーグルって聞いてくるけど、ゴーグルはしてなかったよ。白い布の目隠しをしてた。服は、何故か運動する時に着るような黒いトップとパンツを着てた。

友人、というか、とてもお世話になっている人はいるよ。日記をつけてたので、それから抜粋するね。

This part was in blue text (i think its an exerpt from a diary):

先生がおっしゃるには、とりあえず休んでおけば、少しずつ記憶も戻ってきますよ、ト。それはそうなのでしょうが、こちとら、一文無し、宿無し、頼る人無し、記憶無し、、、どこで休むのか、それより、これからどうやって生活していけばいいのか？黙りこくってしまった私に、先生は、

範子、徳子、規子、「のりこ」模範となる子、徳のある子、規範の子。。。犯罪者ではなくっても、自分が何をしていたか、自分が誰なのか全く分からない今の状況では、名前負けしそう。でも、ありふれた名前だけど、その分目立たなくていいし、いい名前だ！Good name！とりあえず記憶が戻るまでは、私の名前は、「のりこ」。Call me Noriko.

I'll be interested to see whatever translation some can post that makes more sense that what I have.

Recently there wasn't any translation of Noriko's second video.

I know, this is quite late for it, but here we come:

That brough me to think, whether the Ring is really meaning of an hidden circle (hidden society).

My spec is that the definition that pertains to an area for athletic competition (e.g. boxing ring, sumo ring) will sometime this summer find us outside, blindfolded, and scraping our knees.

Hmm. The "secret site" accepts the, uh, "codenames" and biostats for our amnesiacs as those of agonothetai, which would seem to indicate that our amnesiacs are indeed gamekeepers. However, their top physical condition as well as their affinity for certain physical pursuits (running, tai chi, etc.) seems to indicate that they are rather athletes, plus Noriko doesn't seem to feel that they are agonothetai.
