Unless you have evidence to the contrary, you should assume that any person you communicate with through channels not already known to be part of the game are probably hoaxes. Right now unless it comes from ladybee777SPLAThotmail.com, I wouldn't trust any non-website-found info.

Why should it be immediatly dismissed as a hoax? What if there is a chance that it is part of the game?

I remember finding that site a few days ago. There was a post from one of the original players. He was having a discussion with that AIM handle. I also thought it was strange that he did not mention how he came in contact with the person though. I am sorry I can't remember where that was posted. Dismiss if you must. But, you should try to talk to the person. It is fun! lol

I was walking through the mall the other day, and I saw a stand-up poster thing of the MC himself. At first, I thought nothing of it, as it is a poster...or so I thought. Right before I turned to look at some CDs, I saw it move. I was like "No way!" and then he talked. So naturally, I was like "Hey Master Chief, what's the bees business?" And he goes "How do you think we get the yellow color on our visors? Honey!"

Just as soon as it started, it was all over. Then some homeless guy whispered that Bungie is really a secret Communist agency that is planning to take over the world with robots. And it all somehow all related to bees.

what do you mean "finding THAT site"... what site? why should we discuss it if SOMEONE (who knows who) talked with this person and gave no reason to believe they are in-game. No one else has discovered any link to this Mel12 person (I did a forum search), and the person is saying stuff that's pretty out-of-character for the game. (explicit mentions of cortana and the halo universe)... it seems like a pretty obvious case of BS. and your attitude of "why should I prove it's related- YOU should discuss it until you find out otherwise" seems both counter-productive and insulting. You can post unsubstantiated BS and WE have to take it seriously and disprove it for you? why don't you do your own legwork. If you want our interpretation, give us some reason to believe it's relevant.

Actually, I dont need you to disprove it. I did that myself. I just thought maybe I should post info I have heard. Regardless wheather I believe it or not someone else could find a link. I just found it interesting.
