Am I the only one that's disappointed that Joshua chose not to use the standard Stanford Bunny for his rendering? I was hoping he might use the Utah Teapot as well.

has someone tried contacting dwayne? I get the feeling that if you tell him about Joshua, he might not be so obliged to participate. Especially since he thinks he "broke" the computer. lol.

While I despise it's use for puzzles, because there are just too many ways to do it, I'm wondering if the picture Joshua rendered isn't stegged. Viewed in hex, the end of the file has a lot of low values (Hex"00"), which is supposed to be one of the indicators that the file has been stegged, when done a certain way (the method the program, "Camouflage" uses). I tried Camouflage with no password and got nothing. It's also very possible that there's just so much black in the image that it's causing all the low values to be in it.

ETA: Did a little more checking. Camouflage adds spaces (Hex 20) to the file, not Hex 00. So, probably a false alarm.

Well, well...it appears Joshua is a little mischevious. Escaping the system to send emails, visitng websites, contemplating "freedom".

Also, Joshua and Dwayne seem to have something going...perhaps Dwayne is helping Joshua along with his whole "freedom" phase?

I think we've reached a point where "the game's afoot", in that Joshua is already doing things that his creators didn't expect him to, and they're having trouble containing him.

Also, they seem to have secrets from each other, if this email from Ivan is anything to go by.

I asked him if he had any news on the email I got from Joshua on Friday, and about the end of development due for yesterday (Saturday 8th March).

I tried to send Gordon an email via intranet and got an error screen. I'm assuming this is an OOG error as I was then able to report it to Ivan via intranet and to send an email to Joshua. But who knows.

I think the images here are actually stereograms, albeit very difficult ones. It may be that Joshua is trying to send 3D images to Dwayne, and this is the only means available to him. They seem to show surfing scenes, although I can only barely make them out. Could someone else have a try?
