The question is still: helping or not helping Joshua getting "freedom"- actually, he will not recognize it, since he does not know what it is. How about not just giving him the "nice" side of freedom- taxes, working, etc... maybe he would like to be a learning pc if knowing what freedom fully means.

 		I'm just wondering if this is all telling us to lay off Dwayne now since we've got Joshua's secret email address. But, I can't see them introducing Dwayne and Joshua's fascination with him, just to use him as this plot device and then dumping him.

just for reference
Since Joshua is following these rules, I thought I'd post them for quick reference for those who don't know.

here they are in wikipedia


1. A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey orders given to it by human beings, except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

 		3 laws conflict here. Joshua had to contact Wayne ("I wish I could be sure about that") or violate the inaction clause of the first law. Doesn't matter what other rules are in place. And he doesn't evaluate relative harm very well. His answer to the railway dilemma...

EDIT: Also maybe the tile numbers can be used in some way? I checked they are the appropriate numbers for the letters.
