Still wouldn't work, as you posted there are pages 11-13 as well.
Plus, we'd have to alter the ones already completed.

Hell, I don't think it matters. It'll confuse PO even more Twisted Evil
I'm numbering my first one from page 13 '1301', okay?

And what's that font called again? The one they used on 1in50million? It was the one you used for your green pages, Highwind? Called "Heroes" or something?

I don't think it will matter what they are numbered....when uploaded, it will either asign them a file number, or you can select what to call it then. I am not numbering mine with .OPH at all.....I think it might avoid confusion, and duplicates, if we each choose a different extension.

I have numbered mine 456.uF thru 462.uF so far. The next batch might be my initials or something like .pig Razz I think we will need someone to compile a list of the authorisations (answers) for each picture.

Yup, "Birth of a Hero." You can thank Toasty for finding that one.
And what if the site doesn't accept the 1301.oph page because of that?
As for the authorisations, if we're the one's who upload them, then there's no bother with the answer.
This is all confusing. Anyway, going now, so later all!
Wait 'til you see all the good stuff happens now : D

Coffeebean - I think the whole point (in reading Becca's blog) is to make them as 'similar' to the original Auth files as possible so as not to "alert" P.O...

Also if you go through the pages where we (From pages 1 to 13) are mimicking our puzzles from; the answers are on the page(s).

[although they don't need to be in that same font *shrug* I'm using Comic Sans]

I guess we will just have to wait and see....I still think it will just assign the next auth_# when we upload them. She did say that we will have to enter the answer when we upload it.

I will volunteer to collect answers and post a list (AFTER we upload them).
My email is coffeebeensSPLATcolumbus.rr.com. (don't send me any pics....just the number of file and the answer to it.) If we wait until after we upload, we can be sure of the number of the file.

My other thought: why does it even have to be a puzzle? We could send blank pages and just have authorizations for each one.

I'm making my own pics.

*edit: Hey! What if we made every authorisation the same? No matter what the pic is of.....the answer could be "unfiction" or something?

Yeah totally fine CB whatever you feel's best. Different angles usually work best within a game anyway Smile

But pertaining to your last question.

This is from the blog.

Quote:
It's best if authorisation files are in the form of a puzzle because the system's pretty clever. There's a chance that it could authorise files automatically.

You'll need to prepare your images so they're under 200Kb and no larger than 500×500. The authorisation code will need to be entered when the image is uploaded. Think of it like the solution to the puzzle contained in the image.

It woulda kinda ruin the imagination of the game if we just posted blank pics with a 'certain answer' and having one answer for all files is just kinda lazy n cheating lol - I think we should have the actual answer to the puzzle but *shrug* Just my opinion.

Edit: I'm sorry if that came across 'uptight' or rude... It's 1:30am I've just had to finish off 3 essay papers and I'm tired - But I also honestly feel just uploading blank pics with one total password defeats the whole purpose of playing the [or any] game...

I would add 50; so puzzle 1 page ten would be 151, or sumthin similar. No page has more than 30 puzzles, I am sure.

Yes, you're rude, but nothing new there. How is copying stuff from a website any less lazy? We are not the PM's.....we do not have to do this at all.....our other choice is to say, hey bec, sorry we can't be bothered, we're all too lazy, come up with a better idea. Making pics and giving everyone the answer is pointless too....so u want to make it a real game, then no one gives the answers? All we are trying to do, is make the computer keep authorising files, while Gerry and Bec hack the place. It doesn't matter what the pictures are, or the auth code, or the number of the picture. We are just to "babysit" the thing, play with it, keep it fed, and watch over it while the real work is being done. I'm thinking that if everyone uploads 30 pics, the whole thing is just going to crash.....

Actually, that was the 1in50 font. I still haven't found the PO font.
I'm attaching a file you can use as the background if you'd like that pretty closely matches the OPH image background. Also, the color for the text is something like (86,3,23) (if it really matters at all).

puzzles

Here is my 10. I can always change the number of the picture, if needed.

I know Toasty, I just wanted a font that suited the game.
And I'm gonna stick with my own background, just for variety, unless it's said otherwise.

not sure if mentioned

Sorry if this is already been mentioned but i have to leave work right now so dont have time to go through all 99 pages.

You meantion Ophiuchus as a constellation and note its significance to astrology but as an astrologer I must say it does not exactly escape astrological significance since both Sag and Capricorn depict in many different images combat with a serpent and Ophiuchus is represented by a serpent. Most notably I would direct you to the images in the Alchemical Zodiac.
