Renata liked so much because she said it look like the planet. She was interested in geography. In the later months she go to library and study a lot geography, maps, and postcards. I don't believe Renata loose the necklace. I think she want to tell me something.

Thank you
Larissa

The rings around the stone somehow remind me of that tail biting dragon/snake emblem. And maybe we should advise Larissa to remove the stone from the ring. Maybe something is hidden there/ maybe we can see it clearer then... And yes, it always reminded me of our Earth as well.

waiting for the third eli hunt podcast, great development . March 11, 2008 - Find the secret...

but I think we totally missed one interesting point about his second podcast.
I first saw the second podcast clip on dotsub, but now I was looking at the podcast section on thelostgames.com and found pictures attached to it just like to the first one.
most interesting to me is the "Charcoal-Rubber"

http://www.thelostgames.com/_res/img/gallery/episode2/Charcoal-Rub.jpg

I don't think it's been mentioned before, if so I'm sorry.
so if someone with greek skills could take a look at it and give me a translation or summary I would be very pleased. at all I don't think it's that important, but you know...

I have gone back and read from the point we found the trailer forward and have found no mention of this, so forgive me if this is a trout...I did try!

I was supremely distracted when I watched the video for the first time this weekend, but I showed it to my son this morning and noticed something I didn't before...After the video plays and it goes to the lightboard with the pictures, there is string (or a clew) connecting some of the pictures to others.

For instance, there is one that connects the picture of a tattooed arm to Diego, and then string connecting the picture of Ariadne to a picture of Kai and then another to a picture of Eli. There may be more that I missed.

It looks like as we find things, these strings may become more numerous and intertwined. I have to believe it's somehow important, or they simply wouldn't be there...And if they'd all been present at once, it seems logical that there'd be more of them.

Or maybe I just completely missed them the first time around.

Edit to avoid double-post: There is also something very teensy in the bottom right hand corner of every photo. At first I thought it was a trademark, but they're not the right shape.

Rolling over the one with Ariadne's goggles takes you to her latest blog post. Ditto with the photo of Ariadne herself. Not all of the pictures have links that work, at least not for me.

People, I'd collected all the cities we've found out
into google maps

(the first column is still unidentified)

http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?hl=en&ie=UTF8&oe=UTF8&msa=0&msid=109759884955634556248.0004481554c94621e2c34

If you find some mistakes, pls report me. I'll update the map.

Monica's reply

Monica sent me an email:

Monica answer my email requesting more info:

Quote:
¡Hola Javier!

Besos,
Mónica

Hello Javier
I'm very happy to know that Diego has a lot o people helping him! Maybe all of us can do something to solve this mysterie. I send you an image of the note (the one she reads in the video) where you can see in detail the tatoo's draw.
I wish this help.
Do you have any idea about the meaning of this?
Kisses
Monica

I post it too in the topic about Diego.

Two, anybody else wondering what the significance of the datestamp - over six months ago - is?

The datestamp is a timestamp (8h 17 min and I assume 7 sec). So for example on Markus' blog the following timestamps occur:

08.39.07, 08.32.07, 08.30.07, 08.43.07, 08.46.07, 08.36.07, 08.14.07

Two "strange" things: First, the order is like in the blog and very confusing. Second all end with "07".

I was thinking, could this be some sort of coordinates?

Scotland place

What do you think, the place in Scotland that Monica talk about is Stuartfield, Peterhead, UK ( 57°30'8.01"N, 2° 2'40.01"W)?

Okay until we get a better copy from Monica, here is a fuzzy screencap from YouTube of the picture.

It looks to me like the Greek word is:

μύειν

If I am deciphering correctly, this is "myein," which can translate to the verb "to initiate" or "to close" and is the root of the word mystery.

And I think that thing at the bottom is a trident.

Looks like you are definitely right about the word myein. According to another source:
myein: To close, referring to the lips and the eyes. Etymologically, the word mystery is derived from the Greek verb myein.

Now to figure out 595 Trident 20...

[THINKING...]Spanish word for Trident is (as you can imagine jeje) Tridente. Tri means three and dente is related to "diente", wich means theet:
-We have three locations in Madrid...
-The tridente is related to "Poseidon", the greek god of seas
AKA for romans as "Neptuno".
-There is a Neptuno fontana in Madrid
http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fuente_de_Neptuno
...
-I think that 595 is madrid telephone area code... (there is somebody from madrid here... help!).}

Monica says that when Jorge understood the meaning of his tattoo he went to London, maybe we should look there...

Hey everybody.

I'm going to reiterate that we we have our own forum now and respectfully request that we phase out using the trailhead thread for everything.

Pretty please?

My head asplode.

Diego's reply

I sent an email to Diego talking about the coordenates we found in the postcard, he sent:

Quote:

Javier, gracias por la averiguación. Te dicen algo esas ciudades? Sólo
sé que Mónica vive en Madrid, pero no encuentro ninguna relación
conmigo, con el resto de los 6 ni nada...
Todo dato es bienvenido! Gracias

Translation:
Quote:

Thanks for the investigation. Does those cities tells you something new? The only thing i know is that Monica lives in Madrid, but i cant find a relation beetwen she and me and the other 6...
All data is welcome! Thanks

Then, i sent him the detail of Monica's note, and he reply:

Quote:

uau!! qué buen dato! veo un laberinto como los que yo dibujo (esos que
no puedo sacarme de la cabeza), pero no entiendo esas letras ni esos
números... 595 -> 20?

tendrá esto alguna relación con nosotros? será un invento de esta mujer?

Gracias Javier!

Translation:

Quote:

uuau! Good info! I can see a labyrinth as the ones i draw (those that i cant get off my mind), but i dont understand that signs and numbers...
595 - > 20?

Note that Diego replace the Tridente with an arrow...
