I wonder if the broadcasts will only be happening at mid day?
No because it happened at 5pm for me the second time and it was gone midday when I first accessed it.
And you could be right it could be God save the queen now I hear it again but it sounded a lot clearer on the website.

emergencysubnet.com Regarding www.emergencysubnet.com:
The site is active now. Although as soon as you log on you have approx 2 mins to look through before it times out and the screen blanks. If you return to the site you get a black screen, fading to a red one with what appears to be a version of Her Majesty's Coat of Arms usually associated with the Ministry of Defence (MoD). The red screen will read "SubNET Access Failed: Low Power. Return Access estimated 1200."
When I first went to the site i was greeted with a picture of what appeared to be the Houses of Parliament on fire. The full video of the girl mentioned in previous posts can be seen sometimes, although this either just happens or it doesn't. There is also some kind of archival search engine link which if you type in certain words, will show a video of some blurry images. Some words return a vid, some dont. "Bomb" and "Help" return 2 different ones.
Whatever it is it is based in England and I have not heard anythinng about it over here.
Keep looking.

Welcome first of all and as another resident of the UK I haven't heard of anything either
And without coming across rude if you check through the other 3 pages you'll see that a lot of this info has already been given - Don't want people trouting you!
However the search info I don't believe is old news; thanks for that!
Although as a resident of London I do not recognise the postalcode SE6A - And a google search returned nothing for me in that respect.

Well the one they're isolating is definitely London... The other sectors seem to be (Going from bottom to top)
Cardiff/Bristol.
Cambridge.
Nottingham.
Liverpool/Manchester.
Newcastle.
Right on the England/Scotland border.

New clue I don't believe it's just UK based, it would be easy enough to do IP logging to lock out that IP for a while. I think that's why the anonymizers work.
By any means, I entered "fjeoifhhf" in the search (just random chars) and got a pop-up window that loaded a pdf (Pre-Hospital Emergency Care), see it here: http://www.emergencysubnet.com/search/EMG_092.pdf
Nothing much comes up for the names of the three authors, although I didn't search extensively.

Ty for that Clu... But unfortunately I don't have what you need to open it.
Isn't a PDF file for Adobe Acrobat Reader? I have that but it only seems to want to open certain files.

how to reset the timer I found the file that controls the delay for the swf...
You'll have to search for a file called "subnet.sol", it was in I'm on Vista, so it was in C:\users\username\appdata\roaming\macromedia\flash player\#shared objects\a685es4g\www.emergencysubnet.com
on xp it would be documents and settings
I renamed the file and the folder. then, viola it worked again! Open the file, and it looks like you could give yourself more time if you can figure out the encoding.
@layton - make sure you have the 8.1.2 reader @ www.adobe.com, i guess.

Not that there is need for any more proof, but definitely intended to be UK only.

It's encouraging that the UK has a SUBNET. My guess is that the US is toast in this in-game world, so no need for us to play, right?
I didn't think that other countries were excluded from The Beast, LOST Experience, Primatech Paper? Maybe my Ameri-centric outlook is flawed. Not too much more disappointing than waiting all month for a countdown to end and getting bupkus 'cause you don't live in the right country. (Not to mention the fact that Adobe Flash 9 downloads are probably spiking pretty hard...)
Maybe it's payback for the whole Bush election thing? We *said* we were sorry!
Enjoy your ARG-- I have a feeling I'm out of the scene for a while, and if there are puppetmasters listening, I'll be sure to give your movie/TV Show/sports drink/rap album a pass. Not bitter, just bored and disappointed.

Well there's been a few things that were USA only, but then there's also been UK based games that have centred so strongly around London that the rest of the UK couldn't really get involved.
Hopefully this isn't a new trend to games as it's more fun if the whole world can join in..
