[RING][Update]Forums for the characters' blogs/RSS Feeds
Forum link on characters' blogs as well as RSS Feed link

Did anyone else notice that there is now a "forums" link next to "home" on each character's blog? When you click it a dialog box comes up that says "Enter user name and password for "findthelostring" at http://forums.findthelostring.com " and has fields for entering a User Name and Password. So very soon I guess we'll be able to communicate on those forums.

Also, for those with RSS readers, all the characters have RSS feeds for their blogs now.

I've just managed to register for Ariadne's forum (login and register now at the top), which is still clearly being built (asks for authentication every page you open in the forums - which can simply be canceled away).

The most interesting thing I've noticed is at the top of the threads:

I registered too. It seems there are seperate sections to the characters. Funny thing is under Larissa is Portugal as her location, when she's from Brazil.

Portuguese is pretty commonly spoken in Brazil, but yes, I agree that it seems odd.

Also funny thing is, the questions in various sections
seem to be the same (well, I compared Markus' and Norikos boards).

Btw, I'm Vlad on these boards.

I've just signed up to the forums, user name poozle (no surprise there).

I also did a quick edit to the OP to remove the " from the link to make sure the link is valid.

So perhaps we had a little pre-game for the ARG community, but now we have the main in-game platform waiting for visitors. I assume the PMs hope to build language-based communities around each of our amnesiacs.

Sadly, nobody seems to be chatting in the forums with Larissa or MeiHui or Lucie, and other chat is limited with all but Ariadne. May I suggest people think about shifting some of their personal email exchanges with some of the characters into forum conversations? This will also enable you to show any new people who only find the game through those forums and who don't go straight to the english-speaking character how you have been managing communications with google translations...

Also, to start an old argument early, I personally would keep such communications very much in-game, but that's not a rule it's a personal preference, so no beating up on people who don't agree (and I think we can assume the PMs will overlook the occasional OOG forum references to help new players find others).

I'm going to establish in-forum contact with Larissa, see if I can come up with some useful questions.

EDIT: apparently just around the evening since it's giving me a message about my flash not being compatible or its need of upgrade.

I can't login in the forums there, the system recognizes my user and password, but when the page loads, it says "welcome, guest", anyone with the same problem?

I would turn on cookies. If it doesn't help, you can try out another browser.

I'm not really one for interaction, but I've posted a brief message (in Google French!) on Lucie's forum. It's just a brief introduction, but hopefully it will help kick off a bit of dialogue on her forum.

Thanks, apparently Safari can't handle this page, but it works on Firefox.
