[RING] [HUNT] Eli Hunt. The Code. TLR-Cartography OK, since we have new forum, we can enjoy the freedom of new threads
So let's collect here things we've found out from the videos and podcasts of Eli Hunt.
For beginning, I've transfered all the cities we've found out
into google maps
Note: the first column is still unidentified, so also the numbers are very temporary.

If you find some mistakes, pls report me. I'll update the map.

I'd suggest putting them in the same order as the Code
Code:
Athens Thermopylae Argos
Olympia Eleusis Elis
Thebes Epidauros Tegea
Also, I'm fairly certain the middle one is Eleusis.

Panhellenic Games Ok. Thinking while typing.
We all know that we are dealing with the olympic games . Also we have been speculating in the pythian games , because of the lost sport, that deals with other things than just athletics, and we have received a clear hint "when you are ready to receive the data look to delphi". Delphi is where the pythian games were arranged. Now. The inscription "earth-shaker" and the occurance of the trident points us to Poseidon. The games that were held in his honour was the isthmian games .
If we are to follow this (as Kosmopol's excellent panhellenic map also suggests) we have to look for clues concerning the nemean games as this is the fourth of the panhellenic games. All of them arranged during the 4 year circle we know as an olympiad.
thoughts?

Re: Panhellenic Games @Troag Lee, That's an interesting thought.
If we collect all the datas from your link,
here is kind of Panhellenic table
Code:
Name Frequency Place God Crown (Source: German wiki)
Olympic Games every four years Elis Zeus Olive branch
Pythian Games every four years Delphi Apollo Laurel wreath
Nemean Games every two years Nemea Zeus Celery
Isthmian Games every two years Corinth Poseidon Spruce branch

While the wreath depicted is actually plastic, I'm sure it was meant to represent Laurel (Think, Bay Leaves).

I suppose, since we know about omphalos, we can transfere it to our maps. So post here you maps about the the ring.
Let's use this thread as our cartography library.
