krystyn, I'll admit that the whole "take PC back and use the warranty to get a new one" is a good idea. I just have a few problems with that.

1. My PC is about 3 years old and not worth getting a new one thats similar at this point.
2. My warranty is expired
3. I don't believe there is such a thing as overkill.
4. I do believe that if you're going to do something, make sur you do it right.
5. I'm a guy and I like destroying things in violent ways, often resulting in flying debris, fire, and/or explosions.

But that's just me, thanks for the suggestion though.

New look at China

Hey-

I just noticed in the source code of the ilovebees home page that the java applet for the counter is named 'countdowntoChina'. Perhaps China is a symbol for something and not the actual location.

Some speculation: If China represents the East as opposed to the West (as this game derives from Western culture), perhaps 'China' is the opposite of where we are or what we expect.

I hate to take it this far, but releasing some form of game, rather demo or not, is completely opposite of expected.

http://www.ilovebees.com

Doing an nslookup of the website gives you this IP.

69.20.126.147

Running that IP through Arin gives you this (abbreviated) output:

Code:
Search results for: 69.20.126.147

OrgName:    Rackspace.com
OrgID:      RSPC
Address:    112 E. Pecan St.
Address:    Suite 600
City:       San Antonio
StateProv:  TX
PostalCode: 78205
Country:    US

The ILB site is hosted at Rackspace.com, meaning Dana does not have physical access to Aunt M's server. She probably has FTP access, maybe Telnet. This means that Melissa/Queen/Operator is on the Rackspace server. The reason Melissa was able to snap the pictures of Dana was due to Dana connecting to the server in order to attempt to fix it. Melissa simply used that connection to go back to Dana's computer, where she was able to interface with the camera. Kind of like a session hijack.

Nice detective work man.
So, do you think in the future, since she is not on that physical computer, mellissa will take more pc's.

Warning: this is totally meta to this thread, excepting CorSorei's last post!

CorSorei, that was hilarious. I had a friend in college who would much prefer to purchase, say, a $5 alarm clock that was a piece of junk, as opposed to a good $20 model, so when it would conk out, (or wake him up when he may not want to wake up,) he would smash and smash... good times...

But yeah, I agree that bits flying and such=great fun. Not to mention, in my (and my pal from college's) opinion, the more technologically advanced a piece of equipment is, the more satisfying it is to destroy in a completely caveman-like way. Jetpack
