Hrm...
Quote:
The red duck flies at midnight? What in the devil are you talking about?
Who are you and how did you get my personal email address?!
Colonel R. J. Finch.
Should I answer him? What should I say about how I got his email address? Apparently my standard cryptic statement (the red duck flies at midnight) seems to have confused him a bit... heh heh.

you might want to try a different email address, and this time, treat him like a real "in-game" person. Call yourself a friend of Richard Matthews (or, perhaps, the Professor) and ask if he knows anything.

You could always try the truth about the other email. You could even try pretending you're in the army if you want, and pretend you want something.
It's up to you really, but I probably wouldn't mention Richard.
I'm also chatting to Richard as well. I'll post the log and his AIM afterwards since he's sorta still paranoid about the bugging (Probably for good reason too)

He has an IM? What is it?
Anyways, the Colonel replied to my email:
Quote:
A paper of mine? What, like a cigar paper of some sort? Or, newspaper?
Where in the blue heaven are you people cropping up from!? Firstly ducks flying at midnight and now this?!
Colonel R. J. Finch.
I replied:
Quote:
Ducks flying at Midnight? I don't know about that one...
But, anyways, someone I know said that they found a paper of yours in some kind of code (binary?) that led to your armed forces email address.
Well, I do know about that one. I just didn't choose to mention it. I'm just going bit by bit - playing it safe, if you want to call it that.

Just so you know, even Richard found it funny
Anyway, I told him I'd wait until after our talk before giving out his AIM, so I'll keep my word in that respect. He's busy at the minute (Probably since he's at work) so it may be a wee while yet. Unless you want to try figuring it out for yourself from the clue that I posted

I hope you guys are sure that this Colonel is "in game"... I can imagine a Special Forces squad going full breach on someone's house any day now.
