Maybe this will help.

It's cool dposse.. it was one of those things that was so simple and could have been easily over complicated. We all do it from time to time

Just bloody great...

Ok well as a few of may or may not know already, my place was burgled (robbed?) earlier today. I wouldn't have known if it wasn't for Bianca...

She told me that her and Nate had planned on spending the night together but he stood her up, she had come around here to see if he was home as he wasn't picking up his mobile and someone at Chryo's reception told her he wasn't in today and found the door half off the hinges!

Right now I'm sitting in a Starbucks drinking a slightly warm mocha and waiting for the police to finish their 'initial' search... They said it looked like a typical 'in and out' for this kind of area but I know break-ins (from my bro) and this wasn't kids.

And on that note... I THINK I've managed to copy the binary!

Ok here it is...

01110100 10100110 10110110 00000100 00100110 01110110 10000110 00000100 10101110 11110110 10011010 00000100 01110100 01110100 01110100 01000110 10100110 11101110 00000100 10100110 00100110 10010110 11101110 00000100 00100110 00110110 01001110 11110110 11101110 00000100 10100110 00010110 00101110 00000100 01110110 11110110 00000100 10100110 01110110 11110110 00000100 10100110 01001110 10000110 00000100 10100110 11101010 00000100 01110100 01110100 01110100 10100110 10100110 11001110 00000100 00100110 01110110 10000110 00000100 11010110 11110110 11110110 00110110 00000100 10100110 00110110 00001110 10110110 10010110 11001110 00000100 11001110 10010110 00000100 01001110 10100110 11101110 11001110 01110110 10000110 00000100 10100110 00010110 00101010

the binary translates to:

t¦¶&v†®öštttF¦î¦&–î&6Nöî¦.vö¦vö¦N†¦êttt¦¦Î&v†Ööö6¦6¶–ÎΖN¦îÎv†¦*

Wingdings font, perhaps?

Doesn't look like it's Wingdings.. you've got plenty of other stuff in there (just random "special" and international characters).

EDIT: Promised log. Not much information.

8:13:57 PM Rob: You probably have tons of stuff to deal with
8:14:08 PM ConcernedRichard: oh no im sitting here racking my brain someone to talk to is cool with me mate lol
8:14:16 PM Rob: lol
8:14:33 PM ConcernedRichard: But copying that binary is taking a bit of a treck I cannot seem to work it out.
8:14:46 PM Rob: why? I would imagine it's just copying
8:14:57 PM ConcernedRichard: Yeah but it's looking at 0s and 1s.
8:15:11 PM ConcernedRichard: Like one of those pictures where you have to look at it real close to make something? Your eyes square up and you forget where you are.
8:15:25 PM Rob: :/
8:15:37 PM Rob: Anyways, I'll brb

I can't do it right now because I don't have the time, but...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Flip the binary bits; pretend you're reading it right to left.

I used python (a scripting language).

You just do this:

Code:

binary = "insert binary here"
print binary[::-1]
