Yeah I kicked this about in my head all night and got no where. I keep thinking that we will find a location that has all of the books shown--but I don't think there IS a location with all of those books. Or if it is, it's not indexed in Worldcat, which pretty much means it wouldn't be public.
And what is that last title? Is it a game or a book? The game of s....?
Someone earlier said they didn't know if it would be a college or university because the stacks are kind of janky looking... but there are some janky college libraries, it absolutely could be a college library-- I keep thinking Long Beach for some reason, but I think that could be because Long Beach is a total craphole.
I doubt it would be a high school for security reasons (really hard to just waltz in a HS library as an adult)... but who knows?

The one thing that has been really bugging me about these photos is that there are no call number labels anywhere. Although you can't see the full spine of the book in every picture, the photo with The Great Tax Wars and Taking cash out of the closely held corporation should show us a call number sticker if there was one... did we focus prematurely on libraries?

Well, big building... lots of books... so yeah.
Perhaps a bookstore? But that foyer is one hell of a foyer for a dinky bookstore. Those are marble walls; that's a nice building.
The only thing I can think of is that the picture with the palm trees is not the view of the building, but the view facing away from the building .
We simply don't have enough information here.

I assume that the place of this "plant" is significant because why would the PM put so many pics of it up?? to confuse perhaps?

I checked the site shortly after our "mystery guest" recommended it, and I didn't see anything visibly change. I was hoping for someone else to chime in and mayhaps see something I didn't.
