Cloverfield 2 Posters Pure speculation....
I am making a serious of posters to go along with my Cloverfield 2 Teaser / Trailers I make and what I think it would look like now that we have seen the monster, but don't want to still give out too much on the poster.
I'll keep adding posters as I complete them and I'll also try to incorporate some of your suggestions, so let me know what you would like to see and Ill see what I can do. So, check back every now and then.

LoL
Look... I can take criticism with the best of 'em, but you could have at least expanded on what it was that sucked about them instead of being apologetic for your remarks. lol Maybe if you broke down the "suckiness" of the posters, I can possibly improve.

I just chose a Movie Poster font. I mean... why does everything have to be the same as the first one? Change it up a bit... show some uniqueness! But, at least you're doing something creative to get people talkin'. I have no complaints. Keep 'em comin'!

people just need to start being creative... stop using scenes and pictures and shit that we've seen before and start doing something new.

I like BloopBloops alot, actually. The pair of towers standing in as a slightly broken romon numeral 2. ( II )
And since the sequal could take place during the original attack or right after, seeing some of the same iconic imagery/landmarks would be likely.

Interesting that you would point ou the towers standing as in a slightly broken numeral 2 because that is exactly what I was going for when chosing the monsters hand outstretched and his fingers spread. I even left off the title in the 2nd top right poster because of the fingers there was just like giving the info twice.
Someone suggested someplace else that the hand looked like E.T.'s would, so I made two more "spoof" posters crossing E.T. with Cloverfield just for fun.

Thanks. I'm gettin' the feelin' I should have left the electronic paintbrush in the paint drawer and stick to trailers.
I get what some are saying about the posters, but as for originality, this is one pic of the monster that nobody has seen before. And you're right, I had to basically blow that hand up so I could segment it out from it's surroundings very cleanly so I could put it on a black background and add the text and Paramount / Bad Robot logos and then enhance the hand to bring out some details that hand had. By the end of the cropping, my hand was cramping.

I like 'em both, bloop's and megabyte's. Fun times, it's nice to see someone else's creative work (Cloverfield) inspire creativity in others. Even if everybody doesn't like it.
