Should I give up the names of the testers who got cubes? and should I name Joshua as the culprit? Or what?

I think this is a horrible idea. Way to turn on your team, man.

and i may have just opened my mouth and said something that might rattle deacon a little, mainly just to let him know I'm looking with a critical eye.
subject line for me email that follows was "Free Joshua and then what?"
Quote:

you say that you want to free this child who is being used and held captive by LGL? My question to you would be then what? Don't mis understand me, should your version of the story be true i of course want to help end his suffering and captivity but even "free' children have limits to their freedom. Brilliant though they are cannot be let lose upon the world. The must be taught and nutured. what is it you intend to do to ensure that the freedom the comes is not just a different kind of harm to the boy. logic and thought must work together wih love and passion neither one serving as slave to the other to make our world worth living in. At least LGL's version of this tale is well thought out. I haven't discounted you but worry about the path you and your friends are headed down without sufficient information. You know what they say about the road to hell..."

Quite interested in the response that will generate.

Looks like JoshuaBot has burst in to flames. Took down the web server twice, so I've asked the higher authorities to shut it down. I *really* don't need to deal with that right now.

And I see the camera's down again. Can this day possibly get any worse?

I haven't been monitoring the cam for a day or two, so I don't know if there has been anything interesting going on there.

I managed to convince JoshuaBot that I was JoshuaBot and kept feeding his replies back to him. Oops?

Natas: I'd prefer you not sell us all out, but I've kind of lost interest in this ARG. You can say that I received a cube.

You sure Fuse, I think it might be interesting to see what happens. And, should i say that Joshua is the one sending them out?

I'm not sure who to trust at the moment, this kind of got me nervous on the freejoshua.org website.

This donor, could be genuinely good, or could be looking to steal/exploit joshua, whether a superkid or a supercomputer. (Anybody read Shadow of the Hegemon?)

OT: (Other than Ender's Game itself, the Bean storyarc was much more interesting than the Ender one in the sequels...)

BTW, reading the past messages from the day got me kind of confused... did anyone ever agree on what the right answers to the Cross the Doorway email were?

You could give up Peter Esquival from Happifuncube. He's IG and not one of us. Use it as a first step in bargaining. ???

Joshuacam is... dark. The time and date stamp is still there, but it's just plain black... hmm. Feel free to trout me if I missed that during my reading up.

I miss all the action! All this has been going on... I want my turn with JoshuaBot, I have some ideas on how to attempt to screw it around, hehe. Oh, and NATAS: I think it's a good idea to be the "inside guy". I would have loved that task, shame I missed out on it now. I'm pretty good at being a deceiver Cool

Thanks pacinto, got the Traverse the Path email, interesting...

I'm sad I missed the whole Joshuabot thing, but the Ender's Game references have made my day!

I'm currently probing Ivan about the countermeasures and fail-safes surrounding if anything should go south with the Joshua project... I'll post the full correspondence when i get a response...
