Good idea about this thread. Now about the Shangai pickup, we have a player from China, Wang Yangming, but I think he's from Beijing, that's a long, long ride. Is Mei-Hui from Beijing also? Because from what I understand, the pickups can be done either by a player or character (of course is more fun by a player). Do we have anyone who can pick it up in Shangai?

I emailed Mei Hui with the details of the pickup in Shanghai -- we'll see if she responds.

I've just emailed the World Esperanto Association's delegate in Shanghai to ask him if he'd like to take a trip to Cotton's Bar for us! I've never met the guy, but if he's up for a mini-adventure, I'll let you know what happens.

... or if he could just see the code at the bottom of the pages so we can get the .pdf off the Omphaputer.
Nice work BTW on pulling the resources together to this Shangai pickup!

Shanghai pickup tonight Shanghai pickup tonight Update: My cousin emailed me back and said that she'll stop by Cottons tonight (& randomly, she said she happens to know the owner there). I've explained to her about finding the code on the bottom.
So how does she input it to the omphaputer?

she doesnt have to input it, if she can give us the code at the bottom of the second page, we can get a copy from the "secret" website

Yes, it would actually be better if she gave us that code, since inputting the Austin code into the Ompha-puter doesn't actually work yet (we had to use the example of the first artifact's directory structure to get the PDF file of the second artifact...so are we technically hacking the Ompha-puter and using it in a way we're not supposed to?).

AND - your cousin should take the Shanghai pages, and either keep them safe or send them to you as valuable game swag (as Jasper has learned via hint from Ariadne that he should have taken the Austin page - note that unless he gets back there soon he may have to share "claimed" status with someone else...)
But the first thing she should do is send the code - making sure to be clear about ones and zeros in the typing

Not that it matters, but jasper is a "she" and as far as status goes, she'd be happy to share.
