MrToasty mentioned earlier that the Simplicity answer could be 78, and after reviewing the figures, I think he was correct.

First Part: 64 f (fingers) equal 16p (palms)

Second Part: a (height of man in diagram) equals 24p (palms)

Third Part: Theta (man's chin to head in diagram) / Beta (Elbow to hand in diagram) equals (24/8)/(24/5)=(5/8)

Fourth Part: Beta + Gamma (elbow to armpit in diagram) / a equals ((24/5)+(24/8))/24 = ((1/5)+(1/8)) = (13/40)

16 * 24 * (5/8) * (13/40) = 78

Alternatively, if f is feet:

256 * 24 * (5/8) * (13/40) = 1288

Joshua said we were close though, so I imagine 78 is correct.

Corrected a typo with a typo Embarassed

New email from Belmont on the JoshCam:
Quote:
Benjamin, you might have created Joshua, but I own it. What they're paying should be convincing enough, even for you. Besides, Joshua's just a machine. You'll get over it.

And I'm still not 100% sure how to interpret Josh's reply to me.

Rabbit has replied to my last guess of
simp = 72
clarity = A3 B1 C2
Identity = millennium
Complexity = Energy

I also asked him about the WCT file at the end of his email

What you speak of has nothing to do with the path. Once you find it, its meaning will be clear.

Your path is clear. Complexity eludes you, and the others are so near yet so far.

So the WCT file was a mistake, and it looks like everything might be right except for complexity...

I think you can send individual records.
I sent only:
Complexity = E

and received:
"That did not help."

Trying:
Identity=Millenium
Clarity=A3 B1 C2
now.

Your mail service continues to fail. Why do you trust your communications to this MAILER-DAEMON when he clearly fails at his purpose?

The path is clear, it simplicity revealed.

In order to understand your identity, you must first understand the question.

Clarity

Concerning clarity, I don't think anyone has taken into account the tomato soup can, which must fit in somewhere.

Two possibilites:

1. It is a hint that we need the position of one card from the grid.

2. We need to include the 'grid references' of the can's position in the artwork (which would be D4).

We might have solved this already, but just in case we haven't...

Clarity is solved. See above Trout

Simplicity:78
Identity:?
Clarity:A3 B1 C2
Complexity:?

Hints
In order to further understand, you must crawl before you can walk.
In order to understand your identity, you must first understand the question.
Your path is clear. Complexity eludes you, and the others are so near yet so far.

EDIT and Sorry OOG
My email was bouncing white.rabbit as spam, though everything else from LGL gets through??? Anyway, set up a gmail account with the samename + 13 as the addy. Hopefully won't have to go through the rabbit hole again, but if I do, oh well...

I only wish I had the slightest clue to any of these solves, but as I previously mentioned I have zero, read ZERO, skills in mathematics. Despite passing it at a relatively high level, and not being too bad at it, I've had so little need for it that the part of my brain that deals with it is completely dormant now I think!

The team and Joshua are certainly a lot quieter today, and of late. But today we have the brass, and presumably, the potential buyers visiting. It will be interesting to see what comes of that... I'll just keep trying to interact for now. Trying being the key word Rolling Eyes

Military

My question connected with my last one:

"Hy Josh!
If You would be free- as an entity, what nationality would You want?

Answer: I do not have any preference to any specific nationality, but I would like to have a nationality that would allow me to freely communicate with all my friends. There are certain countries that restrict foreign visitors and restrict the channels of communication within their country and to the outside world."

And now his answer to my last question:

Quote:
Hy josh!
Things are running as hell forward! You seem to have developed sensually!Smile
My next question is:
Suppose, a state offers you freedom, in exchange to work for it's military. Would you accept the offer?

Answer: Working for the military is not freedom; it is work after all.

I guess he would have no problems dealing with the "brass". At least if he would not coincide with the 3 laws of robotics (until these laws are still in him).
