Just opened a new thread about chapter 3, so we can talk about that there and we keep this thread for discussion about the pickups.
I asked Tim to do that above, but I guess he missed it.. You're right.. this one should be for pickups.
There was already one for RIBNITZ/DAMGARTEN which was detailing it, but the thread name was off. I actually sent a PM to NCFriend to ask to change it so that it followed the same naming convention.
Whichever of the two is used, either that one or FMG's new one, the translations from Tim should be copied into it (preferably by Tim so that he can edit them later).

Sorry if I duplicated topics, I thought that the RIBNITZ/DAMGARTEN was specific to that omph...

Yes - Ribnitz gets an omph thread, and Stockholm gets an artifact/chapter thread, right? And less translating in this thread...

I've got a potential contact in Sydney.
Will give them a call at a reasonable hour (currently 7:37am over there...).

mr.judkins, You forget Daylight Savings is in practice over here. It's currently 9.13 AM.
If your friend doesn't want to go get it, I can get to Sydney on Friday.

I do forget that Brodie! I had no idea our Daylight Savings calendars were so different!
Sweet - I'll let you know whether they can make it.

I found the AMP building. It's the second tallest in Australia, after Queensland's Q1 building. It's also called - wait for it - Centerpoint Tower. Every NSW-ian knows it. I've been up it like three times.
It's within the city, corner of Pitt and Market Street. Tell your friend, if they end up going, that they can walk there from the Town Hall train station.
Still... it's going to be fun, trying to get right up to the Torches. Your friend may have to ask the desk to retrieve it for them.

Seconding Brodie about AMP/Centrepoint. If mr.judkins' friend lives/works in Sydney, they will definitely know where Centrepoint is (even if it technically isn't called that anymore).
I can't get there this morning, and chances are that the artifact will be collected before I'll be able to get to the city.

Well, haven't been able to get ahold of her and have left a message, so no certainties...
Will keep you updated, and if someone else is able to get there - go for it!

Scratch that - she'll collect the drop directly after work.
Am sending her links to the forums and all the rest of the game sites.
Will update once the pickup has been done!

Can't say I'm not disappointed - I thought I was going to get a trip to Sydney out of this (haven't been to Syd in a while, need a bit of excitement), but I do hope your friend can get it!
EDIT (to avoid double-post)
I was so excited, I couldn't wait for mr.judkins to post the news. Through wonderous efforts, mr.judkins and his Sydneysider friend have managed to RECOVER THE SYDNEY ARTIFACT. Work is being done on getting the code up and working.
We've got it, people! Wasn't that quick?
