Not sure that it's a new trailhead since there is nothing much to go on. I was thinking it might be related to the 48 hours thing and thought someone else might recognize it.

The pic is not stegged with camo but I haven't checked with anything else.

I don't recognise the woman although in saying that she could have possibly been Jenn or w/e the chicks name was.

But 48Hip was about a movie, not a game... So, I'm doubting it.

But, the fact the title states "What if the game is a coverup" makes me think it's related to something.

I'm pretty sure it's related to something else. Or someone is just f^@k!^9 with us. It's not a good idea to send everything totally anonymous like that if you want players to pick up your trail.

I feel like I've seen the girl in the pic before. But I'm really not interested enough right now to look into it.

As for the steg aspect, I checked it. Stegdetect does give a 1/3 rating for jphide, but it won't crack with the full English language dictionary. So... I don't know.

Stegdetect detects the presence of steganography and gives it a rating of 1, 2, or 3 stars depending on likeliness. You can get stegcrack (just google it) to break it.

Okay, don't know what's going on yet with this map, but it unnerves me, because there's a big red X through Austin, where I was living when I found UF, and a big red X through Columbus, Ohio (not labeled on the map), which is right by where I live now.

Coincidence? Confused

There's a map of the cities hit in the TV show Jericho here:

Most of them line up, but it could just be that they're all major capitals or state centers, and just coincidence.

EDIT:

Yeah, the emailed map is missing St George, Denver, and several other cities. Doesn't line up with Jericho.

Hm, interesting....

However, the new map we received has green circles off of the coast, and it also has missing locations that are on the Jericho map as well as the maps in Red Monday.

Not sure if this is completely related, since if it was, wouldn't it match up exactly to the maps used in Red Monday? Why refrain from marking cities they did previously?

As for spec on the new map, could the green circles be nuclear submarine locations where the warheads were launched from?

And still, we have this information, but I'm still not seeing any way of interaction by us.

I'm sure the X's and O's mean something but I don't know what at the moment.

I'm pretty sure this is a sequel to Red Monday. The PM is saying, "What if the game is a cover up?" makes sense to me cause I played the game but I can't explain it in a way that makes sense. I'm sure the other players will be around soon and can do a better job of explaining than I can about what to expect from this and how Red Monday might be it's foundation.
