Book code? Are we using the Journey to the Centre of the Earth as the like a ref? Like 64.4.3? Page 64 Line 4 Letter 3?

I would say that's most likely. Do we have a link to an online version of the book? We would need the same edition as the image in order for any numbers to work out right.

At about 730 AM Central Time today I received a telephone call from the Kantsaywhere institute. I had signed up on the website asking for a copy of thier brochure. They informed me that due to limited supplies they would not be able to send one and asked if I had any questions. I asked if they had an E mail version of the brochure they could send. They then asked where I had learned of the institute, I replied that I had been refered to them by a friend. I probably could have gotten more info but I was trying to get the kids off to school and had not read any of the forum since last night. Sorry I dont have more to add. I am to receive an email within 24 hours I will post what I receive.

Great, thanx! I wonder if we really what more informations about this Institute...

I wonder what is that "R" on the page? An exlibris? A sign? A stamp? Perhaps we need to figure out a letter in every message "figure.x"?..

OK, I'm really lost... I mean I am up to date on all the info and everything.

It's just that I'm not sure how this all ties together. and it's getting so confusing that my brain hurts. Just to gather a list of things we have to try and connect

Black Dragon Society (Japan)
First Chief Directorate(Russia)
K.S.W.I. (location???)
Ellie(U.S.??)
U.S. Military informants (Iraq)
Lost subs
Chupacabra

We are all over the map on this one. Has anyone given any thought that KantSayWhereIncorporated and BlackDragonSociety is one in the same and this is a game of Spy vs. Spy?

HOLY CRAP!

I brought up the kantsaywhere site and I noted something... The image to the bottom right said "Image loading...", but when it came up there was single dot that came up before the rest of the image.

Zooming in to the hallway on the bottom right, there's an image at the very end of it. I can't seem to get to the actual content file (Flash or otherwise), but here is a screen capture at maximum resolution.

Anyone got tools to pull this, mayhaps get a better resolution?

Sounds very very similar to my phone call a couple days ago. The only difference is that they offered to send me the brochure. I am anxiously awaiting it still....

Also Natas, I noticed the same thing, although its 7 locations with only 6 mentioned Wink A quick [META] note on that, the PM did something similar in his last game, where locations were colour coded to project areas.

Wow, Night! That's great. The picture above is a screenshot from that corridor image. But where have you found this image? (an url...?)

See my image above; I pulled it from my Internet cache.

[META] NOTE...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I don't know if they're trying to be sneaky of if it's simply the way the PM's development environment works... in the IE "Temporary Files" folder almost *every* file, even the image files, had a SWF extension.

I tried to decompile them and got the message saying "Flash is corrupt", so on a whim I tried to rename the file to JPG and, sure enough, there it was.

So we have a secret Japanese society... against a secret Russian society.

Not particularly fond of either side of that conflict.

This was the same in Con08.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
They started masking the graphics as SWFs I believe after we realized that all you needed to do was open the page in a browser with no Flash installed and the secret images were immediately visible. This doesn't work anymore, and if you try to navigate directly to a page, it pops you back to the main page as well with no Flash installed.
