Not Fialka. Gave me crap as well when I put it through. Maybe Enigma due to the German text?

Unless it's everything at default settings, you'd need the 3-letter code and/or rotor numbers for the enigma.

I believe this is supposed to be decoded using that fialka thing.
I have never used Enigma but could those 4 ones be rotor settings?

No. The rotors are unique numbers. For the simpler flash simulator most have used, the rotors are 1-5 in Roman numerals. So the code for the rotors would be 1-2-3 for the default state. You can't have 1-1-1.

Book code? Are we using the Journey to the Centre of the Earth as the like a ref? Like 64.4.3? Page 64 Line 4 Letter 3?
I would say that's most likely. Do we have a link to an online version of the book? We would need the same edition as the image in order for any numbers to work out right.
I wonder what is that "R" on the page? An exlibris? A sign? A stamp? Perhaps we need to figure out a letter in every message "figure.x"?..
Kos,
I think the R is there for the publisher Routledge.
BTW The 1900 version of the book is checked out of our library.

That pretty much confirms it then that is for a different game found on this thread: http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=24796

Sorry if this has been discussed.
Now Ellie/Mary has a section on her website for Evidence. She has posted one of our pics, and she says, "Ill continue to update this as I get more pictures. I am now waiting for a 'moonrock'!"
What does she mean? It is definitely a clue of some sort.

So the plot is something like this? The Japenese and the Russians are waging battle with the Aliens in A secret "Kitchen Stadium" to see who makes the best whale dish?
