Nice! Instructions for preparation of a labyrinth...The Greek letters spell DIKAIOSUNE...so it looks like she's supposed to be organizing the construction.

I see a huge ball of string right at the top of the page...
Hm... a reference to the myth of the Minotaur?

here's a rough translation to start with:
Preparing the Human Labyrinth
Dikaiosune bears responsibility for bringing together and management of a team in order to arrange the labyrinth before the training session and competition.
Dikaiosune should make sure that the design of the labyrinth precisely equals the design of the training labyrinth or the official Olympic labyrinth as shown below:
The Labyrinth for the Olympic athletes who trained and developed some kind of strength will learn that they are able to finish the labyrinth designed for the Olympics.
8 turns are necessary in order to escape the official Olympic Labyrinth.
Trained athletes for Olympic (?) use shorter labyrinths in order to develop thier speed, courage, and orientation skillfulness.
Runners first ought to try the 3 circuit-Labyrinth. 4 turns is necessary to escape it.
More capable runners are able to train on a 5 circuit-labyrinth. 5 turns are necessary to escape it.

Refers back to the yarn (clew) received by the initial gamers, as well as the yarn Ariadne used to help Theseus out of the labyrinth...

It looks to me as if the "official labyrinth" is made up of two different clews or course perhaps? Maybe the game is a race between a player on the red course and one on the white?
Also, the middle labyrinth on the second page looks very different from the others we've seen so far. It seems not to be based on the cretan labyrinth style of 1. one way in or out, and 2. the seed pattern seems to be different. Although, that may just be because of the angle which it was drawn from.

As I had trouble getting back to sleep, I've emailed Ariadne and Eli - alerting them to the collection of the new chapter.
Finally getting my head around this whole in-game out-of-game thing...

I think it's one course, using 2 clews...
Okay, here's a wild spec...I counted the curves in the red and the white yarn lines. If you count each place the yarn changes course, you get 14 for the red yarn, and 13 for the white. Which makes...27!!
So like I suggested earlier, is this human labyrinth made up of people from each of the locations where there's a codex chapter? Could it be that if we join each of the locations together at the end, each representing a different artifact location, we'll get something like this shape spread around the globe?

General question I actually work on the German translation of the artifacts (at the moment Ch.1 finetuning). Because I can't speak Esperanto I rely on the English translation and I ran into a minor problem. Is "You" plural or singular? Is this clear in the original Esperanto?
e.g. You can help. You must help ...

pronouns in Esperanto The second person pronoun in Esperanto (vi) is the same for singular and plural.

AUZ--I'd translate it as plural...Makes more sense that way, since everyone's supposed to help.

The Human Labyrinth The title of Chapter 5 isn't just "the labyrinth", but "the human labyrinth". Does this mean that the labyrinth is for humans, or of humans ie does it mean that humans form the labyrinth? In the trailers, there are scenes of people coming together, holding hands and seemingly forming specific shapes.
It's almost like people need to come together and organise themselves into the shape of the labyrinth for the athletes to compete in. Does that seem too far-fetched?

Ordinarily, I'd say yes that does seem far-fetched, but in this case I think it might not be.

The significance of the "human labyrinth" jumped out at me too, and since the document doesn't say anything about using people to make up the walls of the labyrinth, I took it that "human labyrinth" probably means a labyrinth for humans.
But out of curiosity, I Wiki'ed it and found that Wikipedia has this to say on labyrinths:
Quote:
Labyrinths can be thought of as symbolic forms of pilgrimage; people can walk the path, ascending toward salvation or enlightenment. Many people could not afford to travel to holy sites and lands, so labyrinths and prayer substituted for such travel. Later the religious significance of labyrinths faded, and they served primarily for entertainment, though recently their spiritual aspect has seen a resurgence.
Maybe it's also possible that in a metaphorical way, people (the players) do make up the labyrinth. It could be seen as a kinda "pilgrimage"; the athletes are having to go through us, needing our help, to reach their final purpose/ destination.

? From Chapter 5....
First-time runners must try the 3-circuit labyrinth. 4 turnings are needed to escape it.
More experienced runners can train on the 5-circuit labyrinth. 5 turnings are needed to escape it.
What makes up a "circuit"?
And how would one "escape"??
I see one way in and one way out for all but the middle drawing...
hmmmmm
