I think this is a tiebeaker of some sort. If it's only asked when there is a tie in the answers to the previous 12 questions, most (but not all), ties would be broken.

 		Lucie asked me to tell her everything that I knew about Kharis / Chariton. So, I picked out the phrases that I believe sound most like Chariton, and asked her if they fit. (I used the French translation from the wiki, and Lucie seems to be suggesting some improvements)

Translating back from the google translations, the changes needed are:

  • I often help to retain harmony in my group. (SOPHROSUNE, balance) -> (CHARITON, connector)
  • I can keep a secret. (CHARITON, heart) -> (SOPHROSUNE, self-control)

That swap makes sense. Especially self-control and secret keeping.

  • I help others cooperate well. (SOPHROSUNE, balance) -> (CHARITON)
  • I am extremely loyal. (CHARITON, heart) -> (SOPHROSUNE)

That last doesn't make a lot of sense. Sad Wouldn't Lucie describe herself as loyal if given the opportunity? Also, question #4 already has a clear SOPHROSUNE choice. I don't think these two should be swapped.

      But the "I can keep a secret" one is from a source where we're given a key along with the lines. I don't think we should change those.

      besides, just because a person is a particular attribute doesn't mean they'll ALWAYS choose a line that goes with that attribute. Personality tests are never 100%, they just show trends in a person.

      Unfortunately he did not answer my questions. He did not make many words at all, which led me to the following suggestions to modify the key:

      Question No. 10
      I prefer action to a words. (THUMOS, determination) instead of DIKAIOSUNE

      Question No. 11
      I am never bored. (does not fit to THUMOS in my opinion) should be SOPHROSUNE, self-control

      Of course we now have to change one SOPHROSUNE to a DIKAIOSUNE question:

      Good suggestions. I'll make those changes to the google doc and then we can see about evening out Sophrosune and Dikaiosune

      I sent a message to Ariadne telling her people had been working on a final version of the test, and got a message back, saying various people had been sending her the key, but that she thinks reading it will affect her ability to actually "validate" the test. So I sent her the test we've put together, without the key, and just got this message back:

      Looking at the actual key ( see link ) I recogized that there are still some things unclear.

      Actually we have only 5 THUMOS but 7 SOPHROSUNE.

      For Thumos there are to answers fitting:

      Question No. 6
      I do not yield. (DIKAIOSUNE)

      Question No. 11
      I am never bored. (SOPHROSUNE)

      I like #6 more but than DIAKAISUNE would have only 5. So changing #11 would be easier Wink

      Another important thing: Aridane has not took the "Correct" answer here:
      Question No. 8
      I am never too busy to help a friend. (CHARITON, helping)
      People describe me as full of energy. (THUMOS, energy)
      I can always see the big picture. (DIKAIOSUNE, direction)

      She took number 2 not number 3. So I guess "I can always see the big picture." belongs to someone else.

             		I noticed that too...The only agons that make sense to me for "I can always see the big picture" are SOFIA, MYTHOPOEIA, and maybe SOPHROSUNE, but those would mess everything up...

             		I emailed Markus the test. Hopefully I get back an answer. If we have all 6 tests from all our 6 (how do we call them now?) it would be easier to find the key.

      Which of the 6 have already the test?

             		Gang, I would not expect anyone to answer all questions consistent with a single aspect. That would in fact be very wierd. These tests expect a certain amount of variation, but that the majority of your answers would identify the correct one. In fact it is odd that Ariadne 'missed' only one.
