So anywhere else in the world has it? Has to be a equivalent of a British Library in the US!

We are all too fat and lazy to read. Remember?

If you can get to it, try it. Lucky is better than good. Depends on how much storage Rutledge had, if they valued type more than work, used earlier editions as guides, lots of factors...

That place just collects dust. I swear when I entered it I felt like I was in an abandoned haunted mansion.

Anyway at BL there is a copy available, AFAICT

Quote:
Verne, Jules, 1828-1905:
A Journey to the Centre of the Earth ... New edition, illustrated in colour by T. C. Dugdale..
pp. 284. Henry Frowde; Hodder & Stoughton: London, 1911 [1910]..
8º.. Available Humanities 12551.ppp.27.

or at LoC there are some Routledge editions c. 1900-1925 but they are difficult to tell exactly which edition they are because the dating is not exact. Rare Book/Special Collections Reading Room (Jefferson LJ239)

NM... BL is wrong publisher, sorry.

Is this it?

The link doesn't work right, just click OK and find the book at the bottom from the Mass Maritime Academy (2nd to last)

It's from 1876. THe only problem is that this specific location is in my state, but a little farther out.
