Yes, and Ariadne also said in her e-mail that Kai's test is going to indicate what the top 3 traits are in each person taking it...But my thinking is that even though we players may have different variations, the agons should be more or less "pure," answering all the questions that match. (Although, of course, since not every question here has a matching trait to each Agon, there'll be some questions that aren't as applicable to them, so they'll get lesser traits popping up as well in their results.)

would someone be willing to get the info so far up on the wiki? I'm surprised there's been absolute no personality test information up ther yet considering the scope of info and interaction Smile
the page already exists, with a short outline as best to my knowledge

There is a small misspelling in the link. This is the correct link . I will try to update the page soon.

I understand, as Elizabeth said, that our athletes are supposed to be "paragons" of their strengths but Aliendial is right here. They are human after all. (One expects they are anyway.) No person, not even our athletes, will be 100% any one strength. That Ariadne tests so strongly in the strength she's supposed to represent is an indication of our success in my opinion.

As far as the test finding three strengths for a person, I think we've succeeded in that as well. For instance, when I compare the list of answers I chose before we started to create the key my results where. (Not including the two questions we got from Eli)

Mytho - 5
Cha - 3
Sop - 3

When I add in the last two questions trying to be as impartial as possible knowing the key for those my results for Mytho and Cha both go up by one.

In other news:
The key has been updated with "I am never bored" being attributed to Thumos.

Even more to the point, each question only has three answers, not six. The test taker must end up with answers that reflect other traits. I think the fact that Kai is setting up the quiz to reflect the top three strongest traits for a person also indicates intended overlap.

wiki page

So I finally set up the wiki page:
http://olympics.wikibruce.com/Personality_Test

I still believe that our six athletes should at least pig the six statements assigned for them (the other six they pick do not matter), else the key might be wrong. And who knows perhaps the key will get important later.

So I tried to make a chart on the wiki, where unlikely assignments are marked. If we have all six test results from the "ringmasters" (I call them now this way - as we are supposed to be the "ring-leaders Smile ) we surely can make a key that fits.

The personality test is really reminding me of the Holland Codes - originally because they both have six values and you get a score consisting of the top three. Also I think they map to each other pretty well:
Sofia = Investigative
Thumos = Realistic
Chariton = Artistic
Dikaiosune = Enterprising
Sophrosune = Social
Mythopoeia = Conventional

But that's just an quick go through. It'd make sense the Puppet Masters would use a real psychological test for theirs and I think it makes sense from a story perspective - Holland might've based his findings on this.

Markus

Just to inform you: Markus sent me an email. He will make the test this evening. I will post the results as soon as I get them.

For those Facebook users, who want to try out the app of the quiz I made:
http://apps.facebook.com/lost_strength give it a go Smile

You can take the test, invite friends, and optionally add the results in a box to your profile.
The calculation is probably off a bit until we get the finalized key, but I hope to update it when finalized. It shows the top strength, and the lesser two strengths.

Oh it will more than likely change soon, and may break, so be warned Smile, but I thought you might like a sneak peek.

Make sure that you link to the game sites in the app, so that if someone stumbles across the ancient quiz, they will know where to go.. either in the description, or better for the secret in the results!

Fortunes

Say, now that we have this nifty personality test, maybe we should take another look at those fortunes some of you received from the 1920 Olympics -- I mean, from 1920 Olympic Way?

Cheers Weezel, Will make it more obvious (there are all the links to the sites in the About tab.) Which one is better? TLR? FTLR? uf? Wiki trail?

I think that TLR is the best site to link to because it looks modern and isn't overly complicated. The relatively new 'how to play' tab links to the wiki anyway.

Hey, I tried it; got Mythopoeia, which is what I expected, so it works for me! Smile

Interesting...

Looks like Ariadne has been putting tags on her recent posts. "How should we organize our secret game keepers," for example, has the Dikaiosune post, and the post related to getting the word out has Mythopoeia. "What do the warnings mean?" and "What happened to the artifact in Bruxelles?" has Thumos, "What is the Lost Ring?" has Soph, and talking to the other allies and their friends has, of course Chariton...

Trying to get players involved in the areas that relate to their own personal strengths?
