 		[RING] [BLOG] Noriko - 3/19 Update
An FYI that Noriko posted a "Summary" of events thus far for Japanese readers on her blog.

The Japanese forum is still in nascent stage; a lot of it has to do with the need to translate the materials and getting newcomers up to speed on what's been happening. (Hope to get some rough translations posted on the chapters in the coming days as starting points)

Her summary extends up to the point where she mentions the various cities being identified via the dotted globe and the recovery of artifacts. She ends by musing that (given all the cities that are involved) there must also be one somewhere in Japan.

Rumiko posted a translation of the 1st page of 1st Artifact (posted under "初めての方へ：発見されている謎の書類) on Noriko's forum and I suggested that we start separate threads for each artifact.

I'm also posting on her forum to see if others want to split the translation work, so that we don't all end up working on the same thing. I'm working on the "Secret Ringmasters" chapter (from Stockholm).

I'm pondering what other resources would be helpful for Japanese newcomers and participants; if language is an issue, they can't take advantage of the info posted on the olympics.wikibruce (and it's way beyond my abilities to build something like that).

Rather than doing a direct translation of every single page of the wiki, IMO it would be better to focus on the direct translation of static game elements (blogs, codex pages, emails, video transcripts etc). The rest of the blog is too fluid to constantly revise alternate language versions.

Instead, they'll need to robotranslate sections of it that change, either by copying/pasting into the appropriate translator or using the babelfish widget on the left hand navigation.

I know robotranslations aren't optimum, but its the only way I see that you can utilize the ever-changing english wiki, and not having to build one/maintain one from scratch.

 		Yeah - they just need the core material up on the blog - much as Ariadne has done; for the rest I think they will need to cope, or ask for specific help.
