"the sleeping princess are in hiding"

"are"? not "is"? but just one princess, not princesses... confusing

Messenger

A friend and I were a little curious about the symbols in the ladybee email from this morning.
Not sure how much this will help.
The symbol (?) used in the email correlates to a hidden emoticon in messenger that has the letters a/s/l underneath it.
(I couldn't figure out how to post the actual image, so you can view it as a gif)
With a little investigation, we found out that this stands for Age / Sex / Location.

As well, I have added ladybee to my contact list just in case she/it comes on line.

I think we should consider that the email isn't necessarily a representation of the sleeping princess (or whoever sent it) own thougths, but ONLY copies of things we sent her. Like the "Dana is a friend" thing: we don't know if the entity thinks of dana as a friend or if she only said it because WE said it. Maybe it doesn't know what it means, or it is believing us that dana is its friend. Maybe if we would tell her that farnsworth (the cat) is evil, she would also think he is evil. On the other hand tough, that would mean she (or it or whatever) trusts us, but why should she?

I dunno, just my little thoughts about this.

Two things:

1)the "Are" i took to mean Dana and Sleeping princess. Both are "alone and friendless" or whatever the exact words are. Thus when it says "the sleeping princess are in hiding" i took that to mean dana as well.

2) as to the ASL emoticon, thats not what thats from. someone told the sleeping princess(if shes the author) that thats how you ask a question (?) if im not mistaken.

A couple thoughts, maybe silly, maybe even duplicated.

MARK but this flea, and mark in this
I know people have found info on this. But maybe nobody connected this part. In Halo, the armor work by Master Chief and the other SPARTAN's is MARK-V. In Marathon, it was MARK-IV. The reason I wonder is because MARK is capitalized.

Also, did anyone try anything with the letters TMNT?
I don't know computing very well, but I can think through things pretty well. Except right now I'm at work and am just coming up with random thoughts.

Boon,
I've been reading through everythting I can find, but I have never seen anyone say that they told ladybee that you ask a question with '(?)'. It just seems a little too coincidental that it's the same way to type a non published emoticon

I figured he was just assuming this based on everything else the princess had taken in.

MARK is capitalized in the published poem, it's just part of the quote.

mayday, it's a guaranteed fact that this has been written. check search, and then check the killer.jpg hidden texts, and check the wiki. I don't know the thread off the top of my head, but I gotta give you a mild trouting here... you're chasing shadows that don't exist. Please take our word for it. It WAS sent, and it WAS sent to show the entity that was hijacking the email account how to recognize a question.

No, in the killer writings, Dana (or whoever) taught the answerer how to type a question and she said..."If I have a question, I use this mark (?) at the end." This is why I had a feeling the killer writer is the same writer as the email.

Someone did tell her just that. If I wasn't lazy I'd find the thread.

Rose sent an instructional email that included the explanation of (?) during Phase 1.
http://bees.netninja.com/wiki/index.php?title=Phase1_Emails_to_ladybee777

The key part is her line, "If I have a question, I use this mark (?) at the end."

This line was also returned to us in the sixth killer.jpg 404 picture message.

Hey, about all of this literature, Aunt M. wrote in her bio that she was very interested in the works of authors like Ellis Peters (interested in the "Brother Cadfael" series) and Alexander McCall Smith (interested in the "Precious Ramotswe" series). I searched around but found nothing really, but see if you find anything.

mayday, don't be discouraged, but let it be only a lesson to you, that there's TOO much info going on here, (which is good,) but that we need to diligently search variations of what we may post, just to make certain it's not already posted and therefore trout (which is bad).

You also get this frozen yogurt. (Whoo-hoo!) But the yogurt is poisoned... (D'oh!)

(sorry i couldn't help it with that last bit there... Wink )
